I can definitely see why this bowl has such a high rating.Pros:- Appearance wise, it looks great. It appears to be well made and has a very appealing aesthetic. The pillow is nice and vibrant.- It came in a great little box, making it perfect for gift giving and storing. Appears to be recycled(?), which shows how much the creators care about being true to the spiritual path (which is really nice because a lot of places make spiritual stuff and just seem to care about making money, not encouraging people to actually embrace the path).- The tone it makes, both when struck and when singing, is clear and bright. Feels nice.- The creators seem to really care about their customers and reached out to me personally to make sure I was happy with my product and to thank me for the purchase. This sort of thing makes me happy.Cons:- If I was to complain about anything its that I have a hard time getting it to sing. But I won't ding the item for this because I think it has more to do with me being a newbie to singing bowls than the product itself.In short, I really think this is a phenomenal product, especially for the price.

This bowl is beautiful and sounds great once you learn how to work it. The first day I used it I was frustrated. I couldn't make any sound with the soft end of the stick. I kept at it and now it immediately has huge sound whenever I use it. The secret is you have to actually use a lot of pressure. Press hard with the soft end in circles around only the edge where it's smooth and try to keep your pressure consistent. Also do not play it while on the pillow. It will not work for me that way. I hold it in my hand with fingers straight out. Curling your hand and fingers around the bowl will cancel out the sound. This is my first singing bowl so maybe all are this tricky, Idk, but just wanted to help anyone that thinks it's broke like I did. The only negative thing I must report is I hate the smell. This bowl has a strong metal smell that lingers on my hand afterwards that I hate. But it's not so big a deal that I would stop playing it. I have a very sensitive sense of smell so seriously others may never even notice.

This is a beautiful singing bowl. It is clearly handcrafted and has engravings in the bowl that add a unique touch. I was also impressed by the weight of the bowl, along with the pillow stand and striker. It's a complete package and comes along with a very cool box and a few notes on the history of singing bowls. This singing bowl met my needs (size, sound, design, etc). Would highly recommend!

Love it. Very easy to make sing, it helps to lightly strike it on the side first to get it ringing, then hold the mallet by the leather end and run the wood end around the top of the bowl. If it starts vibrating too much, slow down a little. Looking at the picture i wasn't able to tell if the pattern was just painted on, but it isn't. This is a very nice item for very little corn. I bought a second one today for my mom. ...And I just bought a third for my brother. Everyone loves it.

Beautiful set....good quality, nice sound. Even the box it came in was way cool....a keepsake box for sure.

If you're new at this... THIS IS THE ONE ! Its easy to work with the first time. This sound is real and calming. I had bought a smallone and its was so difficult to get any sound and then when I did , it was a high pitch.. This is calming and easy . Enjoy !

Balancing my chakras and strengthening my aura aside, I've fallen in love with the sound of this bowl. Includes a high quality striker all at a good price. Would recommend.

Great bowl, sings very well. Mine tunes to B, which is the crown chakra. I understand they may all be a little different. I was skeptical because similar bowls are selling for ten times as much at a nearby store, but this one produces great vibration and clear sound. I have crystal bowls in my meditation space but wanted something for my bedside. I look forward to morning meditation.
