Unfortunately my spring float was missing the piece inside to stop the air from coming out. When we finally opened the package yesterday the piece was in the package but not inside the float so it’s unusable. I wish I would’ve opened it sooner so I was still within the return window. A lot of money spent on something we will never be able to use :(

This is exactly what I was looking for. It's not a platform of sorts so don't expect to 'sit up' on it. It only allows you to lie on it and be partially submerged while floating. I wanted this profile as it still keeps one wet and cool with enough buoyancy to float around lying flat. Because it only relies on a relatively small area of inflation, it was really quick to blow up using the large valves. The headrest area has a separate valve which allows one to fine tune the amount of plush you want for a head rest (very thoughtful and also easier to inflate as a whole). And when the fun's done, the smart valve cover acts as a deflator, which when inserted back into the valve, coupled with the folding motion, deflates the whole float in one go, into a small handful. Wonderful!

Doesn’t stay inflated

We had one of these for a few years, and finally, it just gave out. The spring wasn't good anymore and then it got some hole that we couldn't find so we could figure out where it was leaking from. My husband was pretty upset about it because it was his favorite to float around in the lake on.Found this on here, FINALLY, and it was in stock! Grabbed one as soon as I saw it. Now my husband is happy again. Lol.On the question about the ease of inflation...well, half and half. It leaves me light-headed to blow it up because I'm old and you can't really use the pump because of the way the insert is. But it is what it is and my husband still loves it. I got one with an upright pillow from the local Academy for myself, but they didn't have this flat one. And of course, that's the only one my husband likes.
