Landscaping Principles and Practices

This book has been a great aid in helping to prepare a landscaping course for high school level students. It covers the three major areas of the landscape industry very well. The graphics section is a bit dated (manual drawing and drafting) but I am supplementing the graphics with computer aided design software. Also, the author covers the various aspects of landscaping as a business fairly well.

got this for landscape design class.. this is the 'black & white ' edition so to speak. The next edition up' is better. It's the same book content wise, but there are updated figs. in color and the diagrams are clearer in the seventh ed.

This is a great text book. I own a small landscaping business and have found this book useful in relation to business forms and design ideas.

I bought this book for an intro to design class and it's been very helpful.

I searched for this book every where and it was outrageously expensive. Then I found it on Amazon at an Amazing price! This boom has everything you need to know about landscaping. It's perfect!

This was just too basic for me. It suffered for lack of more illustrations. Chapters could have been expanded 2-3x as much. This is supposed to be a college textbook, I think, at least it was for me. Don't open the book- just look at its cover- and learn everything from that.

Die Detailtiefe erreicht fast nirgendwo einen für praktisches Arbeiten erforderlichen Grad.Eignet sich aber durchaus zur Vorbereitung auf eine theoretische Prüfung oder zur Ausarbeitung eines entsprechenden Referats bzw. Vortrags am College oder Hochschule.
