using one to lower voltage from 13.2 to1.5 to replace a battery on the ignitor on a stovetop so i don't have to take the whole stovetop up to change the battery. it appears to be working. if it dies i have a spare. I bought one from another vendor that looked almost identical except this one only has one control button. this one is definitely better quality. the screws on the connectors on the first one were very difficult to turn and one of them didn't work at all. it broke trying to fix it. these have connectors that work perfectly. no instructions? hook it up you get input voltage, push button for output voltage. adjust output by turning brass screw counterclockwise to lower output voltage. (default setting 12.5v. takes a whole lot of turns to get it moving at first) hold button down to turn of the display. push again to turn on.

I've been using these to control speed of an exhaust fan in fully enclosed 3d printers, a Voron 2.4 and a Sovol SV08. These printer exhausts are ducted outside, to eliminate fumes from hot plastic in the work area. I set fan speed to exhaust fumes from ABS and ASA filament printing, and to avoid more air exchange than necessary. This balances the need for exhaust and the need to avoid excessive cooling of the printer enclosure. The regulator assembly performs well, using 24V input and typically 9V output, with relatively "clean" power, together with the useful display of input and output voltage.

Easy to hookup and its performance is controllable. The potentiometer offers fine tuning of voltage. Lcd display raises the Quality and ease of operation. Lcd looks cool too. Quality product without a doubt.

The price is low and workmanship looks fairly good. I would advise buyers to test them and burn them in under load before installing them though. The first one out of the bag worked ok running at a light load from a 13.6V source and adjusted to 3.3VDC output. The second one I pulled out remains at 12.6V output regardless of adjustment. The 10k voltage adjust pot is stuck at around 1.34k. Hopefully I can find another one or two good ones in the group that will pass a 24-hour burn-in!
