These gloves are holding up very well and I expect they will last a long time.END OF UPDATEJust received them so these are very preliminary comments.The leather appears to be a good quality suede. We'll have to wait to see how the stitching holds up. The gloves fit well and are quite comfortable and flexible which is important when used for grilling. Some gloves I've had can really hamper your dexterity making it difficult to use utensils. These fit like a glove. Sorry, couldn't resist.I'll follow up in a few weeks/months.

Advertised as BBQ gloves, I used them to take a plate out of the warm oven. Burned 5 fingers and my palm within 2 seconds. Totally not usable for hot plates or BBQ.

Good gloves for welding, cutting. I like the red color. Very well made. Comfortable with excellent flexibility, and most importantly, no burning.

I bought these gloves as a gift for my husband. These are pretty heavy duty leather gloves. I was surprised at the quality for the price.

A great pair of welding gloves for a very good price. Well made and thick enough to do what they are supposed to do, protect from heat. 10 feet. Ruler as a bonus was a good surprise!

I use them for cleaning my BBQ. I highly recommend it.
