Sprayway-SW637 Foaming Coil Cleaner, Case of 12 (20 oz) Cans

My coils were very dirty it’s been at least two years since they were cleaned. I was a little skeptical but I sprayed the cleaner on let it sit about five minutes and then washed it out with a hose. Foamed all of the dirt, grass, and other unknown stuff out so I could rinse. I have a 5 ton unit and used about 1 1/2 cans of cleaner. Will use the rest for my emergency window unit and the portable icemaker.

Very easy to use, cleans well. Very satisfied, especially for someone who had no idea what she was doing

This product is supposed to foam to get into the coils to bring out the debris that is inside of the coils. The product is defective, it was liquid and did not foam and therefore did not clean the coils as needed. It was a big waste of money as I had to purchase another product somewhere else. I tried to return or ask for a refund through Amazon, but is says it in non-returnable and I can contact their customer service but they didn't offer a phone number or email to do this. Frankly, I do not have the time to waste trying to find this. I feel the company & Amazon could do a better job of making it easier to get some help/customer service.

Can instructions are not very clear, does not say if you need to have the unit running when its applied or not, and does not say about how long it takes the foam to break down (give it like an hour) Also the no rinse is a lie! In the instructions it says once the foam dissipates you need to FLUSH it.Now the foam does break down eventually but that was misleading. Give it about an hour then you want to rinse to get out any of the debris that has been broken free by the foam.If using on an indoor ac unit I had no issue with it on a running ac unit. The smell was pleasant and the sludge was broken up considerably on the first application. So if you ran a unit with no filter and built up sludge you will need 2 applications of the foam for a total clean.

Perfect amount to do one residential unit. Cleaned great.
