Ficmax Large Size Executive Racing Style Computer Gaming Chair with Lumbar Massage Support and Retractible Footrest (Red/Black)

I work from home and needed a new chair to replace my broken one i purchased over a decade ago. I went with the racer style as my previous one was a racer style and was very comfortable.pro:lumbar and head rest support w/lumbar massagersits highgood materialmany reclining settingsseat is wide armrest to armrestcon:horrible to assembleseat has "sides" that go up almost at a 90 degree angle. if you are wide in the bottom like i am, it may not be so comfortable as you will have a smaller seating areathe foot rest slides real easily and always hits the back of my calfs when not in use. this happens when i get up/sit back downafter just a few weeks of use, the right arm rest is loose and slides left and right. it moves side to side. i did a measurement and gave mysefl 2inch between the outside of my chair arm and my desk. I can push the arm in towards my desk 1.5inch, thats quite a bit of a mocement in an arm rest. I dont even lean to one side in my chair, i tend to sit strait up.when i recline back, and lean back, i can feel the seat loweringThis is a good chair. but for the short amount of time i have had it, i should not be coming across these issues this soon. My other chair was built like a champ. It lasted over 10 years, and it wasnt until a couple months ago that the wheel had fallen off and i noticed that the slot it was in was broken, so it kept on falling out and needed to be replaced. i had no issues in the arm rests, the seat didnt have little "wings" on the side that came up, it was a thick flat seat.I am right at the weight limit for the chair, which is also another reason why i made this purchase as other chairs were up to 250lbs, and i needed closer to 300

Originally I loved this chair. The hydrolic gas shaft (the part that moves the chair up and down) is not made for regular use. After using a few hours a day and longer on weekends it fell apart within a few months. I contacted customer service who said they would send parts that never came. I’ve ended up buying the appropriate parts myself and I hope I can fix it myself.So disappointed. 😔Original review: Bought this for my boyfriend who is 6'4 and 250lbs. I was really happy to find a chair that looks so cool and fits him so well. Needless to say he was super happy and loves the massage feature!!! The leg rest is fairly useless though when you use it it can make the chair feel unbalanced. Still 5 star !!!

 Today I am reviewing a Ficmax Gaming chair, and to show you guys the best, and some adjustments, but for the price... It's Great!Update of the chair thus far, It's still as comfy since the first day I have had it, and never fail's me when I come home from work for a long day. It squeaks a little more with the usage, but I can deal with that because it's not a constant squeak. Ficmax has been super amazing about the support for this char, and they are usually pretty fast when you need to ask them a question. One day in the future I plan on buying another chair for my daughter and getting her one with the footrest and do another review on that! but yes this chair has been a blessing for my lower back pains, and the massage pillow help's when i'm supper tense in the mornings

Ok... first thing Ill address is..for all those people who comment about the chair having a forward lean to it..check and see if you installed the metal seat based correctly..it has a metal stamp arrow and says "Forward" on it. Installing it properly fixes the issue. I, myself, installed improperly the first time. Secondly, as to the vertical gas cylinder lowering over time, did you press the actuation handle "Inwards" to lock it in place? If not, it will retract over time, if it still retracts with it locked, then its faulty..or your body weight, 300+ pounds is too much. Although I've had my share of issues with the chair, I can't be so harsh to judge the manufacturer, if we, as the end user, fail to put it together properly of use it's features right. Squeaky chair hinges can be addressed with some WD-40. Look, I'm not a fan boy here, just saying, we bought based on physical appearance and price. The Ficmax customer service department got in contact with me very quickly after I left a less than positive review, about the footrest leather being degraded, I sent in some photos as they requested, and 2 weeks later received a replacement. For those of you who commented that they don't reply, you obviously didn't even bother to go to the Ficmax website, and could have found the email addie for your concerns.

Pro's: I think this chair is truly great for the price its comfortable, fits well if you are not too overweight, the massage back rest pillow is pretty cool to have considering more expensive chairs don't even have this feature, and the red white and blue colorway is beautiful and the materials are about the same as a 300$ chair I tried out in a store I thnk this is a gem for being only 164$ its insane.Con's: I will say if you are actually a Large person in terms of weight this chair is not for you I think they meant Large as in Tall becaus the side bolsters aka what some call the wings where you sit actually have a medal frame in them.. yes strange idea to put it in a mock racing seat...where you are not actually taking sharp corners... so if you are a big person you will rub against it also the side bolsters on the bottom are very uneven on mine, but I don't really notice its not a big deal considering I paid under 200$ I didn't expect quality control to be amazing, also the box got damaged so there was a large slit on the bottom and there were things inside that could have fallen out I was lucky nothing did so I think the smaller packages that can get lost should all be put in a bag or at least have the entire package double boxed some how.
