Love them
Bought some for my husband a few years ago and have now treated myself - I love the noise cancelling especially when flying long haul 👌 Easy to wear even after 13 hours. Great value and easy to control the sound etc

LOVE
Absolutely love these headphones they’re gorgeous, so aesthetic and smooth the colours great, the noise cancelling is great, the only thing I’d say is the sound leaking, people around you can definitely hear everything

Amazing headphones!
I love these headphones they are so comfy, I wear for almost a whole 8hr work day. The oval ear shape opposed to the regular circle one works very well. Amazing sound quality for the price and they honestly just look great. People think I splurged on the new Sonys! Brilliant battery life too so far, I use these almost every day since I bought at the start of October!

I switched from B&O and I'm glad I did
Although B&O headphones are great; I really struggled connecting them over Bluetooth; so I thought I'd give these a try. The noise cancelling is fantastic, but I'd still recommend turning it off; the soundscape becomes amazing, if you do. The tones are well balanced and every instrument has its own space. So I'd say, they're well worth a buy

These are amazing … love them!

Wrong colour
Has anyone actually received the correct colour?? I have placed two orders for Cloud and each time have received Oasis instead! Not sure if I should bother anymore. It’s a shame as they seem nice but it seems like a lottery which colour you receive.

Good sound, bad build quality.
I have been using these headphones for the last 2 months, I had this pair as a daily driver and I can say the sound and feel of the headphones is really good. All would be perfect if not that the headphones were more sturdy. My headphones headband snapped a month into me using them, so I fixed them using super glue and now the other perfectly good side snapped. The ear cup and the headband are connected by a very thin piece of plastic to allow them to rotate and bend to be more portable and that's the achilles heel of these headphones. The battery life is also not very long, I don't typically use active noise cancelling to prevent them from draining as fast but still I get caught off guard.

Build quality issues/defects - Not worth the hassle
I expected more from these. As an owner of Status products (Between Pro, Between 3ANC, and CB-1s, all of which have served me very well for my purposes), I have found them to be quite disappointing. When I first got them, I expected the ear cups to be FULLY "around" ear, which they are not for my ears (CB1s definitely), but, not to worry - for me that wasn't a big factor. First sound impressions were underwhelming. They're not bad, but I expected the Status "signature" sound I get from the Between Pros and 3ANCs, just with a larger soundstage due to these being over-ear headphones with 40mm drivers, but it lacks somewhat. The mids aren't as clear as they are on the earbuds (vocals seem a bit recessed), and clarity is not as good. But, the consolation is, the sound is still "good" for such budget headphones - honestly, don't get me wrong with these more "minor" flaws, the sound is still good for this budget range. I got a scare only 1 week in where it was clear I was getting less signal through the right side. Turns out, my computer's left-right balance sound setting had changed randomly... I felt like the Bluetooth connection somehow "interfered" with this whilst watching a film on VLC player, but after correcting this, the balance was back to normal. Now, 3 weeks in, a similar balance issue has occurred (right side less, left still fine). This time, though, it's not the device I'm connected to, it's definitely the headphones. A clear defect. I've shared 2 photos below of the wiring from the right side clearly coming through a frayed cable cover (the left is fine as shown, which is the side where the bluetooth signal is connected to anyway). Whether or not they came like this or it started fraying in these 3 weeks, I'm not sure as I never looked at this until the problem occurred. I keep these headphones on a headphone stand on my bedroom desk and don't move around a lot with them, so clearly I haven't done anything that should warrant this kind of disintegration. They are indeed made from cheap materials, so in the end, what can you expect, but I did expect better than this, considering I love the other Status products. Apparently, their Flagship ANC headphones have had a much better reception than these Core ANCs. I have no idea why Status thought they should discontinue them, considering the kind of reviews I've seen comparing the overall quality, as well as build quality, between the 2 types (Core clearly being the lesser of the 2). It's very disappointing to me that this has occurred. It was the very thing I was worried about but decided to take the "risk", and in the end, it hasn't paid off one little bit. I'm not going to go through the process of returning and even refunding as I'm not in a country where this is easy, even if Amazon were to pay partial shipping expenses, it's not worth it from where I am - just a big inconvenience I'd rather not have to put up with. So I will never buy these again - good thing they were dirt cheap! I'm only giving these 2 stars instead of the usual impulse of 1, because for what it's worth, given their price, they're not "bad" (sound), but my individual experience with the build quality and these random balance issues explained above has given me a disappointed impression - especially since I love all my other Status products, which by the way, work!! I even hear Status have released a new upgraded ANC earbud (ProX), which looks very promising (12mm dynamic drivers with 2x Knowles armatures). I'll definitely look into these when they become readily available, but I'll lay off over-ear headphones from these guys for a while yet, until they can develop something with comparable quality (especially build) to the 3ANCs. Edit: Oh and also, the 3.5mm jack addition is USELESS. VERY POOR audio quality if you decide to use a wired connection. That was incredibly disappointing to note... May as well get rid of it if it's going to be that poor compared to bluetooth, which is super strange - not normal in this field... Clearly they didn't focus one bit on the wired connection hardware. Edit 2: And not long after saying all my other Status products "work", one of my 2 Between 3ANC's has stopped working (right side completely gone, bluetooth suddenly dodgy) after 1 year since purchase... What the heck! 🙄

They have good sound quality and anc however when I used the anc while listening to music there is a cracking sound in the right ear speaker which is not good. But when listening to music without anc on there fine.

It feels like yesterday when I purchased these headphones. I have never bought a pair of bluetooth headphones before, but I had been meaning to for a long time because I hate the way earbuds feel in my ears - especially since I have smaller than average ears so earbuds tend to fall out a lot or hurt. For headphones, these were the best looking and had the most positive reviews at their pricepoint so I gave them a shot. Here's some stuff you should know before you buy these: 1) Sound quality: The sound quality on these are amazing. Everything sounds crisp and clean. The bass is so good and gets even better when you turn on ANC. I have no complaints at all. 2) ANC: I have never experienced ANC until I got these headphones so it's a new thing to me. Keep in mind that this headset cancels out just NOISE, not voices, just like ambient noise. I don't use it for noise cancelling itself, but as I mentioned before, it makes the sound quality even better than it already is when it's on. 3) Microphone quality: Now this is where this headset lacks, but it's to be expected with bluetooth headphones of any kind. I personally don't use this headset for phone calls, I prefer to have my phone in-hand and up to my ear instead so the microphone quality is not a concern for me personally. However, if you were planning to get these for phone calls and zoom conference calls (or likewise), this is probably not the headset for you and I would definitely suggest getting a wired headset for that type of thing instead of bluetooth. Like I said, most bluetooth headsets aren't really doing a good job in this category anyway. 4) Noise cancelling: Aside from ANC, this headset does a good job muffling out sounds from the outside with just the padding. I also have never had an issue with bleeding sound. I tested it with my brother on full volume, and as long as the headphones were on my head, there wasn't a peep. 5) Battery Life: I use these every single day, from when I head out the door in the morning to the end of the day and I never had a problem with the battery dying on me at any point. Trust me, I use these HEAVILY. I use them ALL DAY and charge them at night. 6) Durability: As far as wear and tear goes, I'm someone that bumps into things and drops things a lot. I've bumped into doorframes and dropped these on cement too many times to count. I will not lie I was very scared reading other people's reviews on how these headphones have a defect where they will break really easily from the headband, but that has not happened to me. If you want to see what they look like, there is a photo attached to this review where you can see a couple of small dents and scratches, nothing too noticeable though. 7) Fit: The headphones themselves are an oval shape that's tilted back to fit how the natural ear rests. For me, my ears fit perfect and the headphones cover and cushion around the entire ear. For people with bigger ears, this may not be the right fit for you. 8) Portability: Personally, I never need to store these headphones because I almost always have them on or around my neck. If you are planning to keep these in your bags or purses, then keep reading. These headphones are not compact enough to fit into a small purse, so keep that in mind. If I ever need to put mine away, I usually put them in my tote bag, but occasionally, I have put them in my backpack as well. Like I said earlier, these are quite durable, but if you know that you are rough with backpacks then I don't suggest storing them there unless you decide to get a proper carrying case for them. For the average user though, these should fit fine in a decent-sized shoulder bag, or any type of bag you're not gonna sit or lay on haha In conclusion, I give these headphones a 10/10 and they are perfect for you if you're an anti-social music addict like me. I wear these all the time, wherever I go, on campus, out shopping, on walks, and at the gym. They have held up to my countless drops and bumps and the battery has not ever failed my constant use! Please, do get these!

Excellent sound and bass quality. 3anc works kinda like a bass boost. Excellent deal from quality n price perspective.

These headphones are perfect. Modern colour & minimalist design, and they are extremely comfortable to wear for prolonged periods like travelling. Impressive battery life, and I love that they use a USB-C connection to charge. Wasn’t really after the noise canceling, however I am pretty impressed by it and I like that I can turn that feature on and off.

These headphones have really good ANC. I work in an office with a lot of windows that look out at a very busy sidewalk and downtown street. Our office also receives a lot of phones calls and walk-up customers, and we use a lot of loud equipment like printers, stamping machines, and paper cutting boards. It’s also a very small space so even when people are being quiet it can easily get very noisy. I have sensory processing issues so I bought these hoping that the ANC would help cut down on my anxiety. I’ve only had them one day but I feel like I’ve done more in this one day than I have the entire previous week of working. They feel very comfortable, and the ear pads do go around my entire ear without pinching any skin. At the smallest setting, the headband is almost too big, so it’s not snug but it doesn’t fall off from just sitting still at my desk. I don’t think they would stay on if I were at the gym though. The reason I didn’t give it five stars is because even at the lowest volume, the decibels feel too high to me. Even at the lowest volume and with the headphones on, people around me can hear that music is playing through them. The sound quality is excellent for the price, a very good range of bass and treble as well as directional sounds, but for me they’re just too loud. I think they will work perfectly for my needs, which is strictly the noise cancelling in an office setting, but if I were wanting to listen to music while at work, I don’t think I’d be able to pay attention to my surroundings at all because of how loud the music is.
