After ordering and trying the generic version with no success, I went with this one. It was painless and easy to program.

Worked perfect with my opener since the common brands aren’t compatible.

Works great very easy to sync and program to your Marantec garage opener. Get the real thing and don't mess with getting the generic ones that say they will work with your device. I did that at first before getting this one it was a waste of time.

Finally this one I could program the code using the three pin connector. Instructions were great especially on how to reset or clear the factory preset. I bought four remotes from two other vendors. I couldn't program them but after I followed the plug in the three pin connector and use a screwdriver to short the middle and bottom pins, push the button until it turn from blinking to continuous on. Then I could program to my code. Now I have too many remotes!

This remote was recommended by the Marancec technician I spoke with. It pair/programmed with my Marancec garage opener immediately. If you need a remote for a Marancec opener, stick with Marancec approved units.
