Imperial Shuttle
This ship is awesome!!! The wings fold up, the guns move, the cockpit opens, there's a compartment for passengers, there's landing gear, and(*pant*)there's a ramp that lowers down. It comes with a really nice Darth Vader figure, and an okay Imperial guard. The gaurd's not that great because he can't do much (joints). Another problem is that the guns won't shoot anything. Don't let that keep you from buying this great ship! In fact, just forget I said anything bad about it. It is the Bomb!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A bit less than Ok
This the old 1980s shuttle with some newer and nicer paing scheme. It includes a version of Vader with cape made of fabric. It is good, but not the best version.FEATURES* Moving wings (manually)* Landing gear* Boarding ramp opens* Cockpit and passengers compartment* Wing guns with some movement.* Darth Vader and Imperial GuardPROS* Fins and wings make it look big when wings are deployed.* Very nice external paint scheme.* Wing cannons move a bit (not too much). Front and rear cannons do not move.CONS* Non movie accurate landing gear. Blocky and not very elegant either (I'd say ugly and very much like a toy for kids).* No electronics, no sounds.* Cockpit canopy does not fit properly in the sides. Do they have any QA at the factory?* Only 2 front seats, not 4 as in the movie.* It includes Darth Vader (which barely fits in the cockpit) and an imperial guard with plastic cape (impossible to seat). Imperial officers dressed in black that do not have knee joints cannot sit there either. It is quite annoying. Vader barely fits, and since the guard and a black outfit imperial officer I had do not fit, I placed a Tie fighter pilot which is too small for the seat. It seems they did not think about action figure vs vehicle compatibility.* Floor pins in the passenger area are too wide, made for the old 1980s vintage action figures, not the new ones. It makes these pins useless for newer action figures.* If you seat action figures inside with guns or small lose accesories, they could become unreachable if they fall into some inner places and grooves. You may need to disassemble the ship to recover them, and then assemble again. Quite an annoyance. You better remove any accessories that may fall into these unreachable places inside. It is most annoying for me, as I planned to use it as case and display for action figures. But given its design I prefer not to. If someone grabs the ship, I may need to disassemble the ship.* Interior is very basic and not movie accurate at all.I am going to be sincere. With this huge price, I expected huge features. But it seems that we have huge greed from a seller only, who is selling an old toy with a repaint. Except for the size of wings and fins, it is the most unimpressive Star Wars vehicle I have ever seen, considering all these CONS.This ship is a bit less than Ok. I would give it 2.75 stars, but review shows 3 stars (Ok) because 2 stars means I do not like it at all. If you buy it, you are warned. Notice stars are rating the product only. If I rated it with the price, it would have 1 star with this seller.

Good......Not great........
When this was released I gasped! I purchased it immediately, upon opening it, I realized it was just a re-release of the older model. It does not mean that it is a bad ship, I just wish that Hasbro would of re-tooled it.The cockpit is very, very basic. Just two slits for a pilot and co-pilot. One feature that I always liked about the Imperial Shuttle was that you can see the entire inside of the ship from the cockpit.Directly behind the cockpit is the boarding ramp. Which serves its purpose. You can create some very cool scenes with the ramp. When the ramp is lowered, it can extend to meet the surface of what it is sitting on.The cargo hold is behind the boarding ramp. It is accessed by removing the right side shell of the hull. (same mold as the old one) The cargo hold is a little funny....it has a bench that seats 2-3 figures. It also has pegs on the floor built in however, they are way too big for modern day Star Wars figures. A lot of the hull is not tall enough to stand figures anyhow. There are some steps that lead to the boarding ramp/cockpit. Overall the interior is very basic with little color (all white). With a little imagination, paint and super glue you might be able to spice it up a bit.The landing gear is the same as the old ship. The rear two struts fold into the ship, and the third is completely removable. (Which doubles as a handle)The wings are massive! This is the best asset of this ship. They fold up and down, just like the movie. The third is obviously stationary. Overtime I can see it getting loose though. The rear of the ship, where the engines are fold down to reveal........nothing. That's is where the batteries used to go on the older ship.Pros:Massive!Cool wingsMoving cannonsInteriorBoarding rampCons:Very basic cockpitVery basic interiorNo electronics?Same mold as the old one......Overall, I paid about the same price listed above. So no biggie there. I really wish Hasbro would have re-tooled this like they did with the Slave 1. It still holds a very special place in my fleet, I mean come on....it is an Imperial Shuttle.BTW, it does come with a Darth Vader and Royal Guard figures....nothing spectacular with these, considering the newer released version.

My son loves this ship.
My son enjoys playing with this ship. It is close to the one in the movie. It has a small cargo/transport hold on it. Toys like this help childerns communication skills and their imagnation though play.

Saga Collection Imperial Shuttle
I've been collecting Star Wars stuff for years and years. Never managed to get an Imperial Shuttle. Then I bought this. This is the best one I've seen. Instead of being just plain white like the old 80's shuttle, this Saga Collection shuttle has some very realistic looking 'weathering' to its body. It also comes with two very nice figures, Darth Vader and an Imperial Guard and the vehicle itself is massive. It's even bigger when you open the wings into 'flight' mode. It isn't electronic in any way but that doesn't matter. The sheer size of the thing makes up for that.
