USE WITH CONSIDERATION OF DIGESTIVE LIMITS
Good start for anyone wanting to eat a healthy diet who has essential tremors or other forms of epilepsy or disbetes.Alas, my epilepsy is from being high-functioning autistic and complex carbs like beans, peanuts, soy and the cabbage family are forbidden. Thus, adjustments to the suggested menus are necessary.My cardiologist also approves of this diet. He said that the South Beach Diet is similar. More complex carbs and beads, lentils in that one, too.Gluten is a terrible thing if one has the autism genome. It triggers many of the symptoms of this diversity that non-autistic people cannot understand, let alone accept, like being more intelligent and Attention to Detail on Hyper-Drive.But, that's their problem for not being superior beings with higher functioning brains.After all, where would the other 98% be if our ancestors had not invented math, engineering, sailing, writing, music and the arts? (Einstein was autistic, do remember.)Eat MEAT like our genes are programmed to use, not cabbages, wheat and toxic barley. Eat celery, strawberries and beets instead of broccoli.

Keto for life
I love how simple it lays out the plan and explains ketosis. The recipes are great. I have been doing keto WOE for almost 2 months. I am in my 50’s and this is the easiest plan I have ever tried. My husband decided to do the WOE when he saw my food. He thought I had better meals than him. It helps when food looks appetizing. This is probably saving my life.

The guide is a good introduction. I think it we could be better with more positive vibes at the beginning. It seemed as though the author was trying to convince you not to do it because it was difficult. I did enjoy the recipes and started on the diet today.

Lots of recipes!
Very simple guide to follow for the Keto diet. This is a diet I had lots of questions about and the FAQ chapter alone was very good in answering most of those questions. There are tons of recipes to get you started. The only negative to this book is that the guide itself is kind of short, but the amount of recipes that you get makes up for it. Overall, I highly recommend.

A complete book for keto diet. Most beginner guide book I have read are around 40 pages, this however has 141 pages of helpful information on the basics of keto diet. There are 4 7-day meal plans to start with. Enough to have a month-long diet. The FAQs answered the most common questions new readers may ask. The recipes are good. I am looking for more but for starters, these are good ones.

Great book for Keto beginners
I was looking for a simple book to follow that provided easy to follow recipes and menus. I didn't want to have to think about what I was going to cook. I'm not a picky eater or too much over weight, just looking to change my eating habits and lose 25 pounds. The recipes are very good and very satisfying. Every recipe is easy to follow with some minor errors. Read the entire recipe first. Doing so will save you a lot of heartache. Ingredients are either missing from the ingredient list or in the directions. No big deal if you're an experienced cook. There are no pictures, but then again that wasn't a priority for me. Been on the diet for 2 weeks and lost 8 pounds. First week 6 pounds, second week 2. I expect an average 2 pound a week weight loss from here on out. Which is ideal for me.

Great book just what I needed
Simple and straightforward book about beginning the Keto lifestyle, I found it informative and what I was looking for to get started.

No more than a suggested diet plan.
I bought this because I wanted to understand the Keto diet and adapt it for me, as I had read that different people should eat different macros dependent on weight etc. This has a very small chapter on the Keto diet that is pretty vague and then the rest of the book is a meal plan with associated recipes which is not what I wanted. Unless I was going to follow this diet from the book verbatim, I am no further forward unfortunately.
