Steeldive Watches are Well Made and Reliable
I have several Steeldive diver watches and also several Addiesdive watches. They are probably from the same factory in China, but they are very good watches for the price. For under $200 you get a sapphire crystal, a good automatic movement (such as a Seiko NH35 or similar) and the lume is very good if they get a daylight charge up and you need to use it at night. I keep mine on a watch winder as with automatics you have to wear them everyday as the reserve is typically about 30 to 40 hours or you have to wind it back up again. Keeping it on a watch winder negates having to wear it every day. Honestly, I have about10 watches on winders. Some will gain some lose time, but all just a few minutes a month. Unless you get a really high end automatic movement watch, this is as good as it gets with sub 200 dollar watches. I have another that is a clone of a Omega Seamaster with the brownish letters and the lume on that one is crazy. Shine a UV light on it and see what I mean. I recommend these Steeldive watches.

Great Value Diver with One Small Flaw
I've been using the Steeldive SD1970 for a little while now, and overall, I'm very happy with the watch. Here's a quick breakdown of my experience:What I Like:Lume: Excellent. Bright, long-lasting, and easy to read in the dark.Timekeeping: Surprisingly solid for the price. In my case, it’s gaining/losing about 7 seconds a day, which is totally acceptable for a watch in this range.Build Quality: The materials feel solid and well-finished. The case has a good heft to it, and the bracelet is comfortable and sturdy.Packaging: Love the case it came in. It’s not just for show—I’m actually using it to store my two EDC watches. Super handy. The Only Con:The bezel insert is misaligned, which is a bit frustrating. It's the only real flaw in an otherwise great piece.Final Thoughts:Despite the bezel issue, the SD1970 still offers great value for money. If you're into dive watches or Seiko homages and can live with (or fix, it's not that hard if you have the right tools) a slightly off bezel, this one’s worth picking up.

Simply outstanding
I very much enjoy automatic/self-winding watches and wanted one I could wear while working. I have others in the $100-300 range that are OK, but of them have limitations such as accuracy and actual water resistance.Cut to the chase - this is the best of the inexpensive watches I now own. It is subdued but still looks great and it is very comfortable and easy to read. I like it so much that have worn it every day since I purchased it - which is about 6-8 weeks.Best of all it is very accurate. It started off gaining ~10-12 seconds per day but after a few days that dropped down to ~5 seconds. After another week it is now has settled down and gains about 3 seconds per day.A minor quibble - the nighttime iridescence while very good when charged, unfortunately doesn’t last.Overall, this is an outstanding watch for this price point. It is accurate, attractive, comfortable, and easy to read.

Great price!
Great watch, arrived on time, keeps great time! I did change the band to silicone for better fit, just my preference! The price was great! This watch has a very good movement and seems to be made solid! I ordered the no logo version! Other watches with the same movement were hundreds of dollars more!

Low cost high value
The media could not be loaded. No one should come into the expectations that this is going to have the fit and finish of a +$400 watch from Seiko. However, This watch selectively chooses what it puts its best attributes into. The dial, crystal, lum and bezel are extremely well done well beyond its price point and even better than some higher price points. They achieve this by cutting corners on the case finishing in the areas that aren't obvious to the eye. Such as where the bracelet connects and the hidden underside of the case were it transitions into the side chamfer is abrupt in appearance but neither of which affect the comfort of wear. The bracelet is also a cost cutting factor the links are not tightly machined together and seem a little loose compared to a high quality bracelet as well as the finishing is not as refined but it did include the milled clasp. None of which are deal-breakers for what this watch is and no one should have unrealistic expectations for a $100 automatic.Overall, this is a great watch, especially for people that work in more harsh environments and don't want to scratch up or destroy their expensive automatic watches. The ceramic bezel and sapphire crystal are welcome features for a watch that's going to get beat up.I like the AR coating with the subtle blue tint. The lum is brighter initially than a Seiko lumabrite, but the lumabrite seems to have more endurance. This is a great workhorse automatic. The "Captain Steel"
