DW20V6 Adapter - Compatible with Dyson V6 Series Vacuum Cleaners and for DeWalt 20V Lithium Battery

Just installed and the vacuum works fine in normal mode but as son as I try to use the turbo button it’s shuts off.Like some people I was having the issue of it not working in turbo mode for more than a few seconds.Turns out it was the battery’s I was using. I switched from the 2ah batteries I was using to a 5ah battery and now it works fine in turbo mode. It will easily run for 5+ mins now in turbo mode.So for anyone thinking of buying one of these make sure you have a high amp hour battery if you want it to work correctly. 5 stars now.

Works very well with Dewalt batteries, just the right balance and weight with 3AH or 4AH batteries. If you use the lower AH batteries. It won't last.

…about sexy looks or for it to sit down perfectly flat, this is you. Period. This damn thing instantly upgrades you to never worrying about batteries ever running out instantly if you already have dewalt batteries. super easy to swap out. Just need a phillips screwdriver and 3-4 minutes. 5 if you have have suffered massive brain damage, or 6 if were born with an extra arm for a head. It’s really that easy and simple. The batteries just go and go like dewalt batteries do, and being able to check real quick is awesome with the LED lights on the batteries of course so you can swap it out for a freshie before a big vacuuming sesh if you see it only has 1 or 2 green lights on the lower meter level. Man it’s a teeny bit ugly but that cute endearing ugly that stuff gets when it’s really works good and pulls it’s weight and you start to see the ugliness different cuz you love it.

The battery port works well. Easy to install. The “turbo” function no longer works when using this battery attachment, but I didn’t use it that much to begin with. You can not hang the vacuum up on the wall holder with this installed. Wish it did, but beggars can’t be choosers.

This Dyson V6 battery adapter works extremely well. I was very skeptical based on the design of the vacuum, but my God it works. And better yet, it fits all of my Dewalt batteries. My original Dyson battery stopped holding a charge and this is even better than getting a replacement. I have 6 Dewalt batteries which allows me to change out for full power batteries when I need to, rather than having to plug it in again and wait. I would definitely purchase again.

Works great with the Dewalt FlexVolt (20/60v) batteries. Unfortuantely though, the FlexVolt batteries are pretty darn heavy!I wanted to use this with Dewalts newest/best PowerStack batteries (the big 5AH models), but it doesn't work. The vacuum will work for about 5 seconds and stop.Not sure If I want to keep the adapter or not, since it doesn't work with Dewalts best, most expensive batteries.

This save me from throwing this vacuum away! Love it and only down side is the vacuum stand won’t work anymore as this is too big for it.

This attachment has been a game changer for our vacuum! Holds the charge longer and if a battery runs out we don’t have to wait for it to charge we can just replace the battery with a charged one

Sadly doesn’t work, lasts for about 1-2 seconds before it cuts out.Such a shame as this would have been great!
