I ended up returning these because the knee pad was a little too rubbery (I needed something smooth that could slide across surfaces more easily, like a skateboard pad). . Otherwise these provided great protection and were quite comfortable.

These are nice, decently comfortable if you're up and down all day. I would definitely not get these if you're on your knees for hours on end, the foam just isn't that comfortable. They bend just fine and adequate protection.
