Decent robe, terrible mask!
We purchased this as a last minute Halloween costume & the robe was decent enough so we kept it. The mask, however, was so terrible! It looks nothing like uncle fester & the plastic smell was unbearable. We knew that we wanted to paint my husband's face any way but I just had to share how terrible the mask is!

Beware - It looks like Michael Myers, not Fester
BEWARE! This costume did not look at all like Uncle Fester or the product picture. The mask is a dark grey and it looks like Michael Myers from the Halloween movies. Very scary and not funny/weird at all. It doesn't cover your head, so your hair is visible. The mask also has a strong chemical smell and I had to take it off because it made me dizzy. I received it a few days before Halloween so I was stuck with it. The robe is not like the one in the picture. It has a hood that throws off the whole Fester look.

Mask is horrible
Mask looks nothing like the picture it’s very big for one and the features are totally off , there’s no black around the eyes or lips , the mask not made right at all :( the black dress thing is great but not the mask that was most important

Great robe and belt - but my head is too warm to wear any rubber mask, so I used makeup instead
I wore this sans-mask as an Uncle Fester cosplay. I had a makeup artist do the circles around my eyes for about $8.00.The robe seemed a little tricky to put on because I was confusing the front with the back. Not a robe fault, just a user fault.

Material too thin.
Material was too flimsy for the price. Had to return it as I didn't like it. I was expecting a more drapey material but this material just clung to the body.

Mask not good
Costume was good and fit as expected. Saw other reviews regarding the mask and agree with those. Mask is terrible and smells awful. My brother in law is going as Uncle Fester for our Halloween party and was going to do his own makeup anyway, so we will use the mask as a creepy prop somewhere in the house.

Acceptable for the one Halloween party you will wear it.
It gets the job done. The mask has a very strong odor. The material is acceptable since you aren't going to wear it for a long time.For the price and the holiday season it is worth the price.However, this review is only for this costume. Overall, I am a big fan of Rubies Costumes and my children have probably 10 different costumes that they wear all the time.

Not worth the money
When you pay nearly £30 for a costume, you would expect a little bit of quality. The robe is flimsy but ok and the mask is nothing like the picture advertised let alone Uncle Fester. I think the person in the picture was wearing make up because it’s nothing like the actual mask.

this is so simple , put on the robe then the mask, done. the mask is a bit uncomfortabl to ware all night but all we did was put black make up under the eyes and remove the mask,later on, still looked good, value for money.
