What I needed
This is exactly what I needed to make my chicken and pork tender and juicy. Very easy to use and clean when done. Came with a little brush to ensure that you are able to get all the cracks and crevices clean after use.

Water gets in top of mechanism
Water gets trapped in plastic parts. Smells after a while. It finally dried out so now I clean it carefully as to not submerge in water.

Poor Performance - Great Customer Service
The return springs are way too weak. After every needle insertion into a fairly thin piece of fajita meat, you have to hold the meat down while pulling the tenderizing needles from the meat. I had a similar device that released itself from the meat every time. Sometimes bargain items work. This one does not. Don't waste your time and money here. Buy something else. Update: seller contacted me and offered a full refund. Couldn't ask for any more. Very honest seller, even if product seems lacking.

Anything better than using a fork or mallet, but this was well worth the price and came in a timely manner. Seems to be of good quality so far.
