Progold Cable Luber Pen

I use this item to lubricate the pivot points on my bicycles other than the chain. For example, where I only want a small drop of oil on the moving parts of the derailleurs, this item is prefect. To lube the chains, I use the standard nozzle of the Pro Gold lubricant. Pro Gold is thinner than most other bike lubes and does not last as long as some others. However, it works well and keeps the drivetrain of the bike much cleaner than longer lasting heavier lubes. Excellent lube and the pinpoint Luber Pen makes the job more precise and much easier.

so I do see what other reviews are saying about what seems to be solid particles in the oil - I do not any of "this" will pass through the fine needle - and i do plan on using it , however, i will send the pics to the manufacture and ask for an explaination

I wanted a lube pen like this one to get those hard to reach places. And since I had to lube my bike chain anyways I decided to get this one. First the progold lube is really good. It works really well and doesn't attract to much dirt. The lube pen itself is also very good. It seems well made and durable.

It was a great product.... oh wait. It never got delivered. Messaged seller, no response. Disappointing to say the least, motorcycle maintenance without appropriate tools/materials doesn’t happen. 🤷‍♂️

Useful, but has a tendency to clog up. I had to use a tiny wire to clear the nozzle.

I've had a very old bottle with a tip like this for 30 years. I'm always looking for another. Finally found these, so I bought several. The tip & needle are well made. Not like another product I bought which was just medical syringe needles glued on a bottle. The carton says use for bike chains & cables. I not familiar with this oil although I imagine it will be fine for derailleurs. I'm going to empty out one and fill it with my usual chain lube. Will definitely make that job a lot cleaner.

I have had 2 (or is it 3?) of these pens. The plastic has failed in all of them. Eventually, I bought fishing reel lube, http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BEAS2JQ/ref=oh_details_o09_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1, swapped the caps with the regular ProGold bottle, problem solved, assuming you don't need to take lube on road/trail with you. If you do, there are other lubing pens.

I love this little pen! I keep it in the car and use it for everything, especially my bike. I didn't realize how handy a pen with a narrow injection tip would be for lubing hard-to-reach bits! I just bought the large squirt bottle of the same Progold lube and plan to keep refilling it when I empty it.
