This is a great sauce...straight from Italy. A tomato sauce with this kind of flavor is not typical in the United States.....as tomatoes do not taste very good in the United States.Different story in Italy...where tomatoes are delicious. Of the great tomatoes there, the best tasting ones are the Ciliegino tomatoes from Sicily. This sauce is great for just about anything...soups, simmering meats, pasta sauces, etc.Though it is expensive in the States, it is well worth it if you are searching for newer and better flavors.

The shipper says it's a 2-pack of the 23.3oz bottles and shows pictures of the 23.3 oz bottles in the product visuals. However, I received two 11.6 oz bottles instead. Be careful with this seller as the Amazon rep that worked with me mentioned this isn't the first time it has happened and its a repeated issue. The sauce is great, but it certainly was way more expensive than it should have been given the size difference. Amazon fully refunded due to this issue.

It's disappointing because I really wanted to like this due to the sourcing and ingredients. But it's simply way too bland and sweet-tasting. Don't expect complex flavor, since its simply seasoned with salt and olive oil. I have no issues with the texture since it's the same texture homemade pasta sauce I've made had. And not just from canned tomatoes, but from actual tomatoes straight from the vine. The taste of fresh tomatoes for a premade sauce is what made me give this a high rating. The blandness is just what ruins it for me. Now if you have typical Italian spices on hand, season away and you have an absolutely amazing sauce. Actually, paired with fresh pasta and you have an unique culinary experience.

I have to watch my sodium content so was happy to see these sauces with with 60mg of sodium made pasta as soon as they came open a bottle and pour just happen to look at label 280 not 60 very unhappy they are not cheap have to give away as one bottle was open will not buy AGAIN FALSE ADVERTISEMENT

The product was recommended to us by Na Pizza restaurant owner, Christopher Antinucci. It is a beautiful TRUE AUTHENTIC ITALIAN sauce. We used it as a base for pizza, on linguini pasta and also on zucchini "pasta" ribbons.

This stuff was awful tasting. I’ve used other similar products with wonderful results but this particular product was vile. Poured full bottle down sink, after tasting. Would give zero stars if it were possible.
