NYDJ aren't as good as they used to be, but I was pleasantly surprised with this pair. While I am not a fan of spandex, I like the way these fit and feel. Very flattering on. Don't bag out. Very slimming. A bit long, but I can deal with that. Nice slim leg. Bootcut is not exaggerated. Thinking of buying a 2nd pair.For reference, I am 5'4", 115 lbs and wear 2-4 in pants. I ordered the 4 because that is what was recommended. Fit comfortably. Don't feel like a stuffed sausage.

They may seem 'expensive', but it's money WELL spent...You should not go UP a size when deciding what to buy... If anything, go down 1 size...The material is soft and supple... It feels wonderful to wear...They stretch to fit like a glove without pinching or squishing... One size down is fine, never go a size up...They do not shrink in the wash or the dryer...The color does not fade, but stays vibrant...They will last for several years as they are not only made very well as far as workmanship, but the material is superior...

Nice but thin! True NYDJ fit, well made, great price. Unfortunately the fabric is very thin! What happened to the original NYDJ? I loved those lovely true denim with spandex fabrics that the wind didn’t rip through. These are beautiful pants that look like jeans but are not. These are designed perfectly but the fabric is more for a night out in a warm climate. Definitely not for keeping you warm in cooler climates.

I am apple shaped mid 30s. I was a bit worried when buying these since I wonder if they would look too "old". Luckily black is black and I figured it couldn't hurt to take a chance. Price is a bit high but I usually have to spend more when necessary just to find a descent pair of jeans to fit me right. I'm bigger in my stomach area and have smaller thighs/legs and no butt. I hate jeans that are loose on my thighs and butt. These were neither. I'm 5'4" and found the length to be perfect. I like my jeans a little longer so that when I wear some heels it helps cover the actual heel of my foot. The mini boot is also perfect. Not too wide and not a skinny jean. The waist is all the longer/taller side but that just helps me cover some of my muffin top. I usually wear a size 16. I ordered a size 14 as it suggest and fit perfectly. I did not wash them yet. I try not to wash black jeans or if I do, as little as possible. Never seen a black Jean that doesn't fade so I hold out as long as I can. I've since gone back and bought the dark tonal with stitching and scored again!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE: "NYDJ CLOTHING". This particular purchase was my favorite. I own three other pairs of NYDJ JEANS, but this pair will be My forever favorite. I look like I dropped TWO SIZES IN THEM, and they are not tight, don't bind, don't have an inappropriate "lines" anywhere, and the waistline is a soft, hugging, & ULTRA SLIMMING. I'm in love. Going to see if I can find another pair (or two??) at the excellent sale price I was able to get this first pair for. Thanks sooo much, AMAZON.com, for allowing people like me on a very FIXED, UNRELENTING BUDGET, the ability to dress in comfortable, CLASSY clothing. It's a gift, and I am beyond GRATEFUL.

I ordered a pair of these in black a couple of months ago to replace the wider boot cut NYDJ that I've had for years.The first pair were true to size and the actual 33" inseam as stated on the description. I decided to order another pair and they were more like a 31" inseam. Too short for this 5'10" gal. The fit was great but the length was way too short. I really wish NYDJ would make the length consistent. I also ordered this in a blue and they were retuned also due to the length. I really like the way these jeans fit but the inconsistency of the length is very irritating!!!!

After wearing these jeans for only twelve hours, there was a lot of fabric pilling in the back part of the crotch area. If I wanted jeans that fell apart so easily, I would definitely not spend so much money.Other than that, they were amazing and looked great. They were a bit long, even for my 5'7" frame.

I had high hopes for these as I have 3 pairs of NYDJ’s already. Just as other gals had mentioned these jeans are unusually tight around the knees. Other than that, they fit great. Returned them. They looked funny that tight at the knee and my other pairs do not stretch out much. That’s what I like about them. Good bootcut, color and fabric. Strange cut! 🙁

I have bought several pairs of these jeans. I really like the fit and they wash up nicely.

Great jeans. I only buy NYDJ so I know my size. The price was reasonable and they arrived quickly.

These jeans arrived in one week, considering I'm in Australia, that was an unexpected treat! I have a few other pairs of black NYDJ jeans, but because the price was incredibly low I thought another pair would be fine.They fit as all of the NYDJ do (which means just right ( but one thing puzzles me. They're described as having a hidden drawstring - if it's here, it's hidden REALLY well. There's no sign of it.
