Nice Shutters - Bad Instructions
Other than the sub par installation instructions (PDF link at the bottom of the Amazon product page), these are good.The instructions say " Shutters larger than 47” require 4 shutter locks" with the diagram above this showing 6 shutter locks. Step 3. begins: " Drill 1/4” diameter holes..."Nah, do not use 1/4 inch holes for the skinny screws that came in the package! I just drove the screws (better ones than those supplied) in with my drill driver - no pilot holes. You can drill pilot holes, but make them smaller in diameter than the screws you're using to fasten the shutters to the siding.

These shutters are beautiful - absolutely love the look!
These shutters are beautiful and make a huge statement / improvement to the curb appeal of any home. They're plastic, which makes them lightweight and a little easier to hold up while installing. They look great closeup and from further away. The only thing that I found a little confusing is that the ad pictures do not show the installation bolts. When we started out installing them, I assumed they would hold with screws from behind, but they actually have plastic pieces that screw/bolt them into the wall. Ours each use six of those, and it does change the look of the shutters a little, so I just wish they were shown in pics how they actually look when installed. The horizontal pieces have bolts in them, they're not plain like in the picture. Having said that, I love them and wish we got them sooner, but so happy to have them now!

No directions. Incorrect ones online.
These are beautiful but directions didn't come in the box. Instead, we were directed to the website to download them. We did and the website told us to drill 1/4 inch holes into our home. We drove 30 minutes to the store to get the drill bit. We get home and drill the holes only to find that the screws they provided are not big enough for a 1/4 inch hole. It's a bit frustrating that directions were not provided and even more frustrating that the directions online are not correct.

White is NOT white.
Unfortunately I just unboxed these today to install because we are just now moving into our home. The “white” color is no where near white. It’s a cream/light tan at best. Of course I’ve had them too long to return at this point so I’m stuck with them. (*30 day return limit) I saw no contact info for the manufacturer to see if they would exchange. I’ll be ordering again from a different company. If it’s a true white you’re looking for, I’d go for Bright White. Maybe they will be a true white.

Great value
Good value for shutters. Very lightweight. If you are looking for heavy duty shutters this is not them but we are happy with the shutters.

Installation hardware lacking
These shutters are decent, but install was a hassle. We installed into stucco and there was nothing included that actually would have installed into stucco. There were plastic screws that literally bent when we tried to install them; we followed directions. We had to purchase additional hardware to install. Otherwise, shutters are great.

No mounting instructions
Nice shutter but no installation instructions or set location holes for mounting options. Say to visit their website for instructions but couldn't find them there either.
