Quick solo game anywhere
Played a couple of these games on a plane ride using my phone to simulate dice rolls.

Smile after smile!
What a great little book to share with kids! As I read it I couldn't help but smile after each memory was shared for it took me back to my childhood! Thank you for creating a clean, fun and engaging book. It was a great way to dream and reminisce with littles as we recalled each of our own memories that were relatable as we read this book. Again, THANK YOU! We loved it and are looking forward to the next one in the series (hoping it will be a series)!

Fun solo game
Gettyburg solitare is a great game you get 12 chance to win day 1 then 12 shots to win day 2 as confederates by eliminating troops using dice and tables of actions..Key is a good strategy and die rolls

Glorified dice rolling
The Production quality is great. Maps look great, But.... In essence there are only 2 scenarios in the book. Each scenario has 12 pages. I guess you can erase your pencil marks and play more, but why. There isn't much strategy or decisions to make, so the games fell very "Samey". The game is challenging, and well balanced as each game is tight, but it's really just a matter of rolling a D6 and trying to get a low number. Will not buy the other books in the series.

Engaging game.
I like the detail in this game. It makes you think each turn. I gave it a 4 star for only one reason. It advertises that there are 12 games for July 1st and 12 for July 2nd. It’s the same exact game 12 times each day. Variations for each day would have nice. Also the write up on Amazon should have made that clear.

Did I miss something in scenario variation?
I very much like the production quality--it's every bit as good as Waterloo Solitaire. This arrived today, so my initial look at the contents might be wrong. My only concern is that there are 12 scenarios each for day 1 and day 2, but all 12 are identical. At least Waterloo Solitaire had some variations in the BOT's actions so that you got more than a lot of copies of just two scenarios. Did I miss something, or does this seem like too many copies of each of the two scenarios in order to justify the price?

This one is a let down
So I loved Waterloo, it felt like it had alot of tactics and multiple ways to win while Gettysburg does not. I find myself on repeat with the same tactics, mainly on day 1, especially since all 12 scenarios each for day are exactly the same! Day 2 feels like it has more strategy, but day 1 is just dull. In Waterloo , it changes up the bots moves, causes you to use different tactics, Gettysburg does not. All 12 battles are the exact same bot actions, so most tactics will be the same with the only difference being your dice rolls. If you have a choice between this or Waterloo, go with Waterloo and pass on this one.
