Planet Waves PWINSTC25 25' CS BULK INST

It came exactly as I expected. I have two pedal board wiring kits and also a guitar to amp kit but still needed extra wire for my guitar to pedalboard on my live rig, the old 4 footer was just too short to keep me happy. I use these planet waves solderless wires to run my 8 effects from my pedalboard into my effects loop as well as into the front of the amp and also from pedalboard to guitar. Since I switched to these planet wave cables my guitar signal has become thicker fatter and fuller sounding. Just about every guitar-nerd that sees my setup gives me compliments on their look, as they are very professional and they all match. Ive been running these for over 2 years and found no issues with the cable ends loosening at all and I'm a thrasher. The wire has gotten knicked by the sharp edge on my trailer trash pedalboard case when I've been jamming out live, but that was not the wires fault. I simply went to home depot and got a cable protecter for that area. But thats just part of the abuse that happens from the craziness of playing with my friends and jumping around my orange thunderverb with my gibson explorer.These are the best wires I've ran across in my 20+ years of playing guitar.I highly recommend them to anyone that cares about their sound. They also look very good too.In my experience and to me at least these are much better sounding than fender vox boss monster georgel guitar center or bullet cables.it would be cool if they made a curly coil cable though.but overall they're the winner.

Fast way to make custom cables

Used it to make two long cables. Easy to use cables sound great.

Cable quality is good, but boy it stinks...I thought it would go away over time, but no...every time I handle the cable I have to wash my hands because they stink. It's that chemical burned rubber smell. When I leave my gig bag in the car on a hot day, the whole car smells even if the cable is zipped inside the bag. Never had a cable that smells so bad.

I redid my pedal boards and got me another roll of cable...as always, not disappointed.

yay, i need a pair of 12 foot cables, had 4 spare ends from my cable builder set. problem solved.

Repeat buyer

The cable is quality, BUT the listing is misleading because it implies the cable is compatible with the the pedalboard kit. The cable diameter is too large to fit the solderless mini jacks. Extremely disappointing. How are we supposed to re-use these custom cable kits without bulk cable that fits?
