So I bought this product a year ago, appreciate the cost, not that expensive so probably not that robust but just wanted it for outside the caravan to allow the dogs out in the night without having to get shackled up with coats and leads and for the last year it has served this purpose without problems. A camping trip last week however saw 35mph winds, and rain like the world was ending. I was in the caravan thinking, that’s it, the windbreaker will be in the next county in the morning. But no. Ok, a couple of the guys had uplifted but the windbreak was still in situ and no damage at all. Two nights later (having not moved it, just repegged it) the weather did the same again. This time, I thought, it will go, it can’t withstand it again. But lo and behold, save for a couple of guys again, there it was. I was amazed. So amazed I popped back to add this review.

I love this item love the height and the windows also so easy to put up and a lot stronger than it looks it went round the front of my campervan perfectly thank you

The item arrived very well packaged, was easy to assemble and was robust and well made

Took me a while to work out how to put it up securely. Once done it was very good even in the wind. Needs firm ground for pegs. Would not be suitable for the beach.

Not actually used it yet, comes in a small bag so obviously looks like it's compact, can't wait to see it in all its glory.

I really wish I had not bought this. The necessity of having to put all the guys in is very, very time consuming. (I have 3 sets so I can surround my campervan). I wish I had done even more research than I did and realised how pathetic the fence poles are. Then I would have bought a type of windbreak which required a hammer. I also had to buy plentiful ground pegs to attach to the bottom of each panel as supplied elasticated loops are too long and loose allowing the dogs (Shelties) to get underneath. As the end guy ropes have also to pull the windbreaks taught lengthways it took creative thinking to create a gateway that didn’t require stepping over these. On the plus side it did withstand winds as long as I kept the guys taught. It looks good and the clear panel is great for viewing out of when seated. It takes up very little room when stored. However there are more cons than pros and I will now have to spend a lot more money to make it dog proof and to avoid the use of all 36 guy ropes and 15 ground pegs.
