Got these in hopes I could use them to tighten ropes on my shade sail. Alas, these are way to small. They look like they'd work for smaller twine or small tent strings but not for 1/4 in nylon rope. I'll throw (hoard) them in the tool chest for that project in the future.

Looks to do the task needed
Purchased for securing lightweight watercraft that allowed for quick line adjustment. This will work well. Easy to use for multiple applications as described by seller.

Small
I really like the design of these tensioners but they are pretty small. It says it fits cord up to 5mm. I bought some 4mm cord just in case and you have to really cram them in. There is no way a 5mm cord is going to fit in this thing. Now I have to turn around and buy smaller cord. I don't think I want to cram the 4mm cord in these. It's not going to be a pain in the ass and not glide well. Pretty disappointed. So if you want these, make sure you get 1.8 to 3mm cord!

Tensioner actually doesn't tension paracord like you would think it creates a loop that can be tensioned to an extent but its not a pull one line through type tension
