Well built, metal lens covers, BDC turrets for 55gr 223 and 168gr 308
Definitely a hefty scope but it's worth it. Flip up caps are made of thick aluminum and held with magnets so just a light flick and they pop open. Good feel on turrets and lighted reticle only lights up the center circle not entire reticle. Seems there's a couple versions of this some are marked with a scale and some have the color and number of brightness for reticle.Mounted it and threw bore laser in and it was only off a couple clicks to the right! The included mount and the eye relief let's you get to charging handle without blocking it at all.Looks good and matches my rifle black exactly.Clear view from 1 to 6X Definitely right for the price! The reticle they show in the one pic is the 1 to 4X reticle I think. I'll post a pic of the actual reticle for the 1 to 6X scope.

It's pretty good, but it's heavy
I like it. I bought this to test the LPVO waters to see if I would like it. This one was fairly inexpensive and had some pretty good features, especially for a 223 or 308. It's not the brightest at full magnification and has pretty harsh eclipse at that setting. The low power is fantastic though. At 1x, both eyes open works really well. The green dot is super bright, the red dot is not. There is an off setting in two places 180° from each other with the bright setting of one color next to the low setting of the other. I set it where clockwise one click is full red, and a click counterclockwise is dim green and that makes the brightness pretty level. The reticle is pretty good, even without the power on in good light conditions.I ended up liking LPVO's so much, I wish I would have just stepped up in price and quality. This is great quality in this price range. Its probably worth mentioning that it's heavy enough to beat someone if all else fails.

Awesome Scope. Needs better Packaging
I’ve been looking for 1-4/24 tactical scopes for a few weeks now. I narrowed down to several but the one that got my attention was Bushnell 1-4/24. That was until I came across this beauty. After reading pretty much all the reviews and several videos. I decided to bite the bullet and give this scope a try. When it comes to price. You’ll get more bangs for the bucks with the TruGlo optics. That includes upgrading from the 1-4 to the 1-6. The TruGlo also has both green and Red illuminated reticle.Pro: Price, and design. A mean, this scope screams quality. It has a nice feel to it and it just looks amazing on my AR15.Cons: Upon receiving it. I noticed that the scope box was clearly damaged. After removing the top cover. It was obvious that the rear lens cover popped open and broke through the plastic and the top cardboard cover. I also noticed that the top turret left several marks on the plastic bag and inside of the box. The cause was the placement of the lens cleaning cloth and papers on the bottom of the box under the scope. The box was constructed exactly the same height as the scope and a few items of paper and the cleaning cloth. Placed it higher, causing the damaged to the box and possibly the scope.Note for TruGlo. I recently purchased a less expensive scope. This scope had foam on the front, rear and center of the scope that held it center in the box and prevented any movement. If you took the time to make such a pretty box. Why not go the extra step and protect the item inside? The scope looks ok, but I am very concern about inside damaged.

Mounts Easy, Adjusts Well and Maintains Zero
This scope is reasonably priced and has some nice features such as a two color illuminated aperture and wide range of power. The single power appears to be a true non-magnified image permitting sighting with both eyes open when using the illuminated aperture. The scope came securely attached to the mount and was mounted to a true level. It mounted easily to the Picatinny Rail and I was able to get the proper eye relief at full power to keep the scope on the receiver and not mount it to the forearm.I initially sighted-in the scope at 50 meters and the first three shot group was within three inches of the point of aim and the group was less than one inch in diameter. The windage and elevation scope adjustments brought the next three shot group right at the point of aim.I fired a total of 40 rounds at 75 meters after the sighting-in process and the groups did not drift but remained tight at the point of impact. Three shot groups measured between 3/4 inches and 1-1/4 inches shooting with the scope at maximum power.A five shot group fired at a 10 inch round AR500 steel target at 75 meters with the illuminated sight at one power measured under one inch. The target fit perfectly within the lighted aperture. This is a great scope and is very functional especially considering the attractive price.

Excellent LPVO for it's price
I'll start with, this is my first LPVO.I want to get into farther range shooting, but I wasn't sure if I would stick with it. So I thought buying a more affordable sight would be the smart play. This is excellent for a first buy. The magnification is harder to acquire at this price point. You get illuminated sights, green and red. A lever for your zoom adjustments, which is a separate purchase in many cases. A set of mounting rings, which is also a separate purchase in many cases. Locking adjustment turrets, and magnetic lense caps that have O-rings.If you want to try a scope out that's low power, but don't know if you'll like it? You'll be happy with this. The illumination knob has click points for adjusting brightness, making selecting brightness really nice. My reticle is different than what I've seen, the lines that are at the 2/4/8/10 o'Clock positions, so to speak, are much thinner than I've seen in reviews and videos. But I like it like this, less of the reticle covers your target, making it easier to concentrate on targets further out. I love the brightness, and the colors help with contrast A LOT.
