Split Rings are perfect when you want a little extra security. This 8mm is a popular size. This is the size used in my Key Chain (pictured). In the picture with the rings, 8mm is the size circling, and the center compares 10mm, 8mm, 6mm. You can also see a comparison in the picture with the clasps.
