Brilliant
This is a fab cover. No finger prints and superb finish. Shows the ‘Apple’ through the cover. Delighted with this and highly recommend.

Makes my Mac look ugly
My MacBook looks ugly now. Helps it protect from scratch, but this would be the case for any other such product. The case keeps coming out and is not too secure. Won't recommend it.

Broke
The bottom cover has a crack in it, we don't use the laptop and nor has the laptop ever been dropped.

it is smudge proof
I wanted a MacPro M1 14inch cover that was smudge proof. The clear carbon fiber version has a very finely ridged surface that minimizes finger contact with actual surface under normal conditions - normal clean hands. Marks will appear if fingers are very oily and actually leave an oily film. Even that can be cleaned with a soft cloth and rubbing alcohol. I got what I wanted.

cracked upper shell
I noticed a crack at the corner of the upper shell after 2 weeks of use. I had no difficulty putting the cover on and my new laptop was not dropped or abused.
