Q: Is it made from silicone and fiberglass, letting steam thru? For baking cut out cookies, does the back of the cookie end up with a smooth grid on it?

The silicon mat makes the cookies come out with a flat surface and the clean up is so easy. Perfect addition to my baking.

Q: It does not fit my Nordic full sheet pan. Can I cut it to fit?

If it is centered over the sheet pan, it should fit well with the extra mat edge leftover pressed against the inside edge of sheet pan. That way if any grease runs it doesnt get all over the edge of the baking sheet. I would do it this way rather than cutting it.

Q: can this be trimmed to fit a smaller pan without hurting the glass fibers inside the mat?
