Comfortable leash. High quality. Good thickness. The functionality of the base handle is why I purchased. When you need to shorten the distance between you and your dog, that base handle is perfect.

Going on two years with this and my pup gets 4-5 walks a week. He's strong, 70 lbs and a puller. The shorter lead only being 5 ft and the second handle is great. Lights up when headlights hit us at night. Perfect.

Because the rope is unusually thick and bulky, and the caribiner is difficult to open and attach, I am returning since our medium dogs (24lbs each) so I found it hard to attach / unclip, especially with the locking feature. The locking feature is difficult so I'd only want that if my dogs needed that extra security.WOuld be good for large dogs that pull or break cheaper metal clips. Well made and the handle is very comfortable, just too big for my need.

Bought 2 of these for our two dogs 5 years ago and just bought 2 more to replace them because they started fraying a bit and the second handle started breaking away a bit. But they’ve held up so well overall and I purposely went back through my Amazon orders to purchase the same ones again! We use them daily and they hold up great through lots of camping, hikes, runs, etc. The second handle is a game changer as well. Comfortable to hold even when dogs pulls and the reflective pieces are helpful for night time walks!

Nice leash. I really like the second loop hold. The clip, however, is a real pain to open. I generally cut these off and replace them with a simple spring snap hook that fits through the loop. So far, a sturdy and well-made leash.

I wanted to wait and use this leash for a while Before I could accurately say, I liked it or not so after five months of daily use, I am so glad I purchased this leash. The main reason I bought it was because I wanted a clasp that would not open or at any chance, and I have to say this one is not opened up at all it states secured. I never felt ones like it was gonna pop open at all. rocksolid leash. The only change I’ve made is that I have added a little strap to the loop that comes back to the leash. Otherwise it does dangle down and drags so that is what the photo is above. That’s the only improvement I can make on this, but otherwise, I absolutely love it. I would love it if they sold it in just a little little longer variety..

These are my favorite leashes. The length is perfect as well as the location of the second handle. They are durable and do not fray or pill like some others I have purchased. I also love the carabiner-like clasp.

This is the third one of these I've bought - not because they broke or wear out but because I seem to be collecting dogs. A 110lb Lab, 80lb Pit Mix and now some kind of Doodle. In any case, these leashes have held up well (first two anyway) and the traffic handle is great when I need to reign them in around crowded places or narrow areas. It took me a little while to get used to the 5' length but it works really well with three dogs. My only complaint is the traffic handle can drag when the pups are behaving and one of the leashes has worn through to the inner cord. Not really a leash problem but i would like the handle a little further from the collar clasp. I would buy again (hopefully won't need to) and would recommend. I know some complain about the carabiner breaking or being weak but I've not had any issues in well over a year.
