This scratchable world map is exactly what I was looking for! The size is perfect (I ordered 36x24), it is large enough to be a great statement piece on the wall while still being easy to frame. I put it in a wooden frame, and it hangs beautifully in our living room. It instantly added a fun and educational touch to the decor. It's super easy to use, even my kids enjoy scratching off the countries we've visited. The surface scratches cleanly without damaging the map underneath, and the colors revealed are vibrant and satisfying. It makes tracking our travels a fun family activity! Functionally, it does exactly what it's supposed to - highlight where you've been and inspire where to go next. And unlike some cheaper maps I’ve seen, this one feels very durable. The material is sturdy and doesn’t tear or crease easily. Highly recommend this for anyone who loves to travel or wants a unique way to document adventures.

I want to preface this to say that I have bought THREE previous scratch off maps, all popular and with great reviews. I’m a little picky because I live on a small oft-overlooked island. One of the three prior maps I purchased had the island chain but not specifically named. When I stumbled across this map, I was intrigued by the advertised quality and the space at both the top and bottom where I could frame it without covering anything up. However, it was missing the islands I wanted to see! I emailed customer service to ask and received a very prompt reply saying that they would include that in the next edition and let me know when it came out. A few months later, I received an email from them with a link to the updated map, which I purchased. I did not receive a discount of any kind so that’s not why I’m writing this review. I’m writing it because, from customer service, to shipping, to product quality—this item is exceptional. Of my now 4 scratch-off maps I’ve purchased, this one is easily the best. It easy to scratch off with clear lines and text. The flags are also aligned well and do not look messy. The material—omg the material! It has a thick water-resistant quality to it so that when I was done scratching off the map and dusting off the gold flakes, I was able to WIPE IT DOWN with a damp cloth for a perfect finish. Couldn’t do that with the other three maps (though one advertised I could). My only tiny complaint is it didn’t come with a tool to scratch off the map with so I used a guitar pick, which worked well. I contacted customer service initially about that and they replied within hours to apologize for the error and to ask for my address to send one out. Didn’t need it after all, but I appreciated the quick reply. If I were to give any advice (besides buy this map!), it would be to frame it in an actual frame and not waste your money on a magnetic poster frame like I have. I love this! Not only is it classy-looking, but it’s also fun and definitely a conversation starter. A friend of mine noticed a small issue, where I think the flag or the outline shape of a country he visited didn't exist, and it’s not a disputed territory but it is fairly small. In my opinion I would love it if the color under the gold was silver or something cooler than normal RYB. Overall, it is a great piece and a perfect way to commemorate your or your loved ones travels. Fun: Absolutely a blast both with the satisfaction of uncovering the place you have been to and discussing why, when, and what happened there, Hangability: Needs either sticky tape or frame to hang Educational value: Probably great for families who go on holiday out of country or state to teach or get kids to research the location and maps. Fit: Perfect for my friends place! It gives off a classy look and is a conversation starter! :)

I love our scratch map! The quality is nice and the colors are bright that highlight the country or state you traveled to. Some of the print is very small and hard to see...

We loved our World 🌎 Map !!! its amazingly unit, it contains 196 Countries & also contains the capital of each State in United States Country! Can’t wait to see more colorful on our World map soon! This map is great! The bigger the better so I can see everything! I first got it in a smaller size, but it was hard to see everything. Instead of using the hangable frame with the magnets from top to bottom, I placed it in a frame with the acrylic plastic cover. It hangs pretty good on the wall. The color quality is good. I love the solid gold and then see colorful states and countries when scratching them off. After laying it flat on the table and hold the corners with something heavy, it took more than 30 minutes to flatten. I tried to re-roll it in the other direction carefully without creasing it. It wasn’t easy to do, but there are some creases on it. It still looks good overall and I love it. The size is good when it’s bigger. It was easy to scratch it off with that scratching tool. Its function is good too. It’s fun to mark off the locations in the world. The price on this big size map is valuable. Life is an adventure wherever I live or travel to!

I cant say enough great things about this map. After living abroad for 2 years this was the perfect way to display my travels. When it arrived it came in a simply designed, recyclable tube that kept it in perfect condition during shipping, which was very fast (I'm in Canada and from the states it took about a week). When I got it out of the tube I was very excited because the quality is clearly the best. The paper is thick and glossy, and the gold doesn't flake though it's easy to scratch. I left my map unrolled with glasses in the corners over night as weights but it was definitely back to its flat shape in less than an hour. The scratching process was addictive! I loved revealing the vibrant but tasteful colours underneath and remembering my travels. I also loved scratching off the maps on the bottom which were a huge selling feature though I do wish I had left the gold border around the flags to match how I scratched the map (my bad but please learn from my mistakes!). I'm a complete perfectionist and was able to maintain the gold borders around the countries which you can see in the last photo. The fact that it was designed in Canada and made in Ukraine just made me that much happier with my choice. I spent some time figuring out which map to purchase because I am really picky! There’s a lot available on Amazon. Most are just cheap-looking but overpriced Chinese copies of the original Luckies’ map. Many of these sellers also have fake reviews. Clearly written by the same person. Surprise? This map appeared to be much better than the original ones and I can confirm this is not just an impression. It is actually much more superior to all of the ones I’ve either skimmed through on Amazon or seen in real life. We travel a lot, but we live in a small place. We don’t have much stuff, but all that we have is the very best quality. Including this map: the European quality is quite evident. Extremely well done: US states and territories of all the big countries like Canada, Brazil, Russia, Australia, India, China, UK, etc. properly outlined. Country flags are clean, alphabetically organized and the outlines are drawn on the scratch layer. This makes it look real stylish. I’m happy you didn’t cheap out and made it large. Who needs a map on the wall where you can’t really see half of the countries because they are too small?? Overall clean minimalistic design and attention to travel-important details. You guys rock! If I could make one suggestion it would be to add some art on the protective tissue paper that wraps the poster inside the tube while packed. It would just add even more character to this piece of art and a wow effect when opening up. Well, I’m weird. This is 100% worth the money. I actually feel that I got a real deal with this product as I truly believe it is underpriced for the quality. Thank you travelization - Yev and Lana
