The TRIGGER wireless accessory controller substantially saves installation time of your electronic accessories eliminate the need to run wires under the dash or through the firewall of a vehicle when wiring accessories. It also adds functionality such as; an RF remote control for activating installed accessories from outside the vehicle and dimming/flashing functions for installed lighting. In addition, fused circuits with LED indicators notify you of blown fuses. The included battery-powered RF remote utilizes a universal mounting system that will accommodate round surfaces as well as flat surfaces. Its buttons are backlit and it is programmable for security or use with additional remote's. Several TRIGGER control boxes and remote's can be used together to control up to 24 accessories. When mounted to a UTV roll bar, the buttons on the remote are more easily accessible than dash switches. No straining against seat belts to reach the dash, just a quick reach up to tap the remote. The Bluetooth app will control on/off and dimming functions as well as flashing when used with LED or conventional lighting. It is simple to set up and allows for user customization. Use the app to "TRIGGER" lights from outside the vehicle whenever you might need to activate an accessory on demand.

Great concept. Initial execution, well only ok. Now great..
12/22/17: I called Trigger and explained my problems. They sent a new unit. After the install, the unit seems to be functioning property. The app is also working as it should. Now... Would rank the unit as a 5 stars if it worked properly out of the box. Because of the problems, it’s at a 3 star review.12/18/17: I have had this unit for months now. There appears to be a flaw in the design. I run a Rigid 30” Bar and D2 Driving cubes. The light(s) will come on completely out of the blue. It has happened 4x now. Thank God all during the day. At first, I thought it was me inadvertently touching the controller. That’s not what it was.To stop the issue, I disconnected the hot wire (Red) from the battery while in town. I would reconnect when I need it. The company may have a serious liability issue... This needs to be fixed.Prior review:Ok, I bought this for a 2017 Chevy Silverado 2500hd Crew. The install is easy peezy. I didn’t want to tap a keyed line. I went straight to the battery. The product works like it should BUT...... The iPhone app isn’t exactly 5 Star. I would say it’s 3 star. Occasionally, it doesn’t connect via a bluetooth pairing. I do like the dim and strobe function from the Trigger controller when it works. I suspect, the remote inside the cab will get a work out. It works just fine. I love the idea you don’t have to run wires into the cab.

App usage is a definite negative
I purchased this unit 2 years ago for camp lighting on my truck. I didn't want to use all my upfitters for lighting that wasn't going to be installed 100% of the time.Pros:-simple to wire in-no pass through firewall wiring, using the included wireless remote-when the BT app connected, I had a strobe feature, which was kind of cool.Cons:-not the best mounting options for a super duty, though they do sell one for Jeeps and I would assume Toyota. I ended up with velcro pads to the battery box.-the Bluetooth app rarely connected originally, but now won't connect at all (honestly that lasted about 6 months)-one of the buttons on the remote quit working all together. I moved the line to the spare that I was saving.-included wiring was fine, but I had one connection from the controller side that completely fell out over time.

This thing is amazing. Used in my Polaris RZR XP1K4
This thing is amazing. Used in my Polaris RZR XP1K4, it allows me to control other accessories that might be installed on the back of the machine. This prevents me from having to wire up harnesses all the way to the front! Plus if installed in the back seat (of my 4 seater) on the drivers side, it's right next to the batter for easy power. If you've already put on a skid plate and don't want to have to take everything off to snake wire through the driveshaft to put a switch and relay up front, this will take care of that for you. Moreover the relays and fuses are built in.The app works well BLE. It's much easier to use this than the remote, but then again it's much more difficult to have your phone out all the time while you're riding offroad. The only downside is the silly remote control. It's brittle and not very well constructed. It's cheap and broke easily trying to install. Apparently the arrows on the back show the way to Tighten, not to loosen like every other product in the free world.

Unreliable
The unit seems to be really well built and at first I was really excited about it. However, upon getting it mostly installed (I got the unit installed but didn't have time until the weekend to wire in my accessories), I noticed that the relays seemed to be powering on by themselves. Luckily I didn't have anything wired up to it yet, because this could have been a major disaster (I was planning on wiring axle E-Lockers into this relay). I was planning on using the app to control the system because the switches are backlit, but they don't have lights to tell you when your accessory is powered on. Upon downloading the app, I found that the bluetooth didn't work with my phone (iPhone 7) or my wife's phone (iPhone X). The device would show up as "Trigger" in the bluetooth menu but upon trying to connect to it, a pop-up would say "device not supported". Needless to say, not being able to use the bluetooth function, on top of having the system power on by itself from vibrations, I elected to return this and get an SPod system, which I am much happier with.

First unit wasn't great, But company and Warrenty are amazing. I Love this product Now.
I was super excited to finally get this product installed on my truck it’s been sitting in my garage for the last two months .I was disappointed After trying to get the product to connect to my Bluetooth on my iPhone X and my android Head unit, As it sits this product is no more than an Extremely expensive wireless accessory remote.Update 11/30/2019After calling company they gave me a new unit, The customer service is amazing with this company- Advanced Accessory Concepts LLC (AAC) 509 North Smith Avenue Suite 101 Corona CA 92880.This is the type of US company every other company should try to live up too. Thank you...

Works for my needs
Works for what my needs are. Installed on a 2016 Jeep JKU. The app is somewhat worthless as it needs to by synched every time you're near the vehicle. Would also be helpful with more instruction regarding the splice/ignition wire. For now, I have it installed on the positive terminal until I can figure out where to splice with the ignition. Overall, the performance of the SSR and the RF remote works as advertised.

works
finally got around to installing it. think long and hard about location before you buy. I don't have extra room and it was a pain. Due to short cables you have to get creative. having said that....works great and I do like not having to run cables thru firewall.
