Great for the money
Had an audio friend recommend these to me. I always take his advice because he’s been in the business longer than I have. I use these with a pair of Lewitt LC-040 condenser microphones. They fit perfectly and do the job, and that’s what is important to me. Great hold, inexpensive, and good build quality.

Rock-Solid Shock Mount With Bonus Accessories — A Fantastic Value!
I’m pleasantly surprised with the SmallRig 1859 Pencil Condenser Microphone Shock Mount for the low price point. Right out of the box, it feels premium and the construction quality seems miles ahead of the smaller, cheaper third-party alternatives I’ve used in the past. The materials are solid, well-machined, and built to last. Surprisingly it comes with an extra set of rubber shock bands, something most brands don’t include. SmallRig also includes a 5/8" to 3/8" adapter, which fits perfectly into a camera hot or cold shoe, making it adaptable for a ton of setups. This mount firmly holds pencil condenser mics between 15–25mm in diameter in place with a vice like grip. Once positioned, it stays put without any slipping or sagging; even at angles where other mounts tend to give up. Performance-wise, it’s excellent. Mic handling noise is nearly eliminated; the only time I heard anything was when I accidentally dropped the mic on a desk, and even then it wasn’t bad. For normal handling, adjustments, or movement, it keeps things wonderfully quiet. It’s also extremely versatile: great for on-camera use, mic stands, or boom arms. And when it goes on sale, it’s a crazy good deal considering how much better the build quality is compared to budget brands. If you need a dependable, well-designed shock mount for your pencil condenser mics, this is absolutely one to consider! Highly recommended!

Great value and works for my application.
Haven’t used for long, so cannot comment on durability yet. Fits an ear trumpet labs Edwina mic and should reduce feedback. Happy with quality for price and includes an extra set of o-ring bands.

awesome value
This is a great shock mount. I've been a fan of Small Rig stuff for a while now. The size is nice, it's not too big, and it does a good job of isolating my mics so I'm not picking up surface vibrations and other reverb from the environment. I like the design, it fits my boom arm like it was made for it, and the mic just slides right in and it holds it really well so I have 0 complaints, this mount is great for mics that will fit.

Well-made and Sturdy!
I really think people should realize what an amazing product this is. I was amazed how well-made these are and how well they hold my Gefell M300”s and Schoeps CMC641”s. As you can see I use them for my cinema camera rig, but they also work wonderfully for my professional home studio setup. I have more expensive options for this purpose, but make no mistake, these will do the job very well!

It’s okay BUT falls off
The mic holder is GOOD holds my boom well. the hot shoe it comes w SUCKS bc it always slides off my cam even when tightened to the best on my fingers ability. I would RECOMMEND also ordering a locking cold shoe.

Gives new life to old mics
Excellent shock mount to put those old mics back to work with. There are tons of great reporter mics for sale dirt cheap that sound awesome, but nobody wants them because they don’t look cool on a podcast. This mount will make them look cool and also do it’s main job of keeping handling noise to a minimum.. Win/Win! The mount came with thread adapter and spare elastic bands.
