Gets really hot which is what I need.
I love these curling irons for short-medium length fine hair. I have 3 sizes.

I like the curling iron except for the teeth break off easy after several uses and the bar keeps sliding out the Iron which is very aggravating.

I bought a looser
I purchased this through Amazon. I have used Helen of Troy for many years and needed a replacement.That was last August. It is now 12/06/18. The product would not go "on" in the high setting. This is not acceptable.Four months of usage? "Forget about it"
