I purchase this for my 6 year old daughter and it is the perfect amount of firmness and height for a child.

I would not consider this "low profile" at all, unless you're comparing it to the fattest, firmest pillow ever made. I got the firm, because I love my extra firm latex mattress and couldn't really imagine what soft latex would feel like, but I'm returning it and will try the soft one instead. Hoping it will be more comfortable and let my head sink down further, because this one put my neck in a really uncomfortable position, with my head way too high.Editing to add: The soft one was slightly better, but still way too thick. I lay on it for 10 minutes and started getting a sore neck. I really don't know how they can call these "low profile". I am returning the soft one as well, and will try one of the really thin ones that look like they were cut in half.

I wanted a thin pillow. This is not thin enough. Also it is not firm enough for me.It might be fine for some people and seems good quality but it is not what I wanted.
