Pocket Emergency Medicine: 9781975190729: Medicine & Health Science Books @ desertcart.com Review: Superb resource, does just what it says - An excellent resource, and one I would recommend to anyone who works in any capacity in the field of emergency medicine. Whether you deal with medications or not, whether an MA, EMT or Paramedic, this book has something for you. Even a person trained in standard First Aid/CPR/AED would find a lot of use in this, I believe. Well worth the price, and an excellent item to own. Well organized, and well presented. Review: Must have for clinical rotations/simulation - I used this in sim lab and found it to be super helpful. On clinical rotations this tool was the MVP. This along with Pocket medicine and Pocket primary care are the only books in this series that I recommend. If you want to only get one I would pick this one. The info in this pocket guide is broad enough that I was still using it when I was on my other rotations.

Succinct EM Resource
Most succinct resource for EM Clerkship/SubI and Intern year. Feels like WikEM in physical form. EMRA Handbook and online resources (Core Pendium, AMBOSS, UpToDate) are too wordy and/or not focused enough in comparison. Pocket Medicine is also solid but only gets 80% of the way since it’s geared for IM Wards. Same binding as usual for Pocket ____ Books.

Surprisingly elegant for being so concise
Awesome for Emergency Medicine Clinical rotations. Well written & concise. A highly recommended handy dandy reference for a 4th year EM clerkship.

Too many abbreviations
Great resource, but abbreviations make it difficult to read. It sometimes has some useful definitions of the abbreviations nearby, but most of the time it does not and it reduces the usefulness of the book.
