A real beauty
The media could not be loaded. This sat in my wish list for over a year. Didn’t think it was worth the price. Finally gave in and bought it because it went out of stock and thought it may not come back but it did so i jumped on it. Its worth every penny. Took less than five minutes to get it to float. Have done it several times now. Haven’t touched it in a week and it is still rotated at same speed.

Awesome room decor.
I got this for my son's new room. He loves it and it stays on most of the time. It is very unique and would make a perfect gift. It also lights up and can spin.

Magic
Perfect for my desk. This globe is really cool. I enjoy giving this a little spin and watching the globe circle slowly. The product is well made and is very attractive to the eye. Definitely catches peoples attention and great conversation starter. Easy to assemble and get going. Recommended for anyone who enjoys unique office decor.

The “power” button is a sticker!
I know that magnets do not need a power source to work. I understand that the power is supposed to be for the light. What I don’t understand is why the Power button is a sticker and nothing seems to light up (see pic 1). As a result of nothing indicating whether it’s on or not I am not sure if it’s actually working. I am also unable to find the center-point to balance it. I understand that takes practice but other than the magnets connecting (see pic 2), I don’t know if this things working at all. Will be returning it, very disappointed.

Spins too fast
The media could not be loaded. Spins too fast, and the wrong way. Our earth spins in the opposite direction; east to west. This spins west to east. Has a large gap at the equator. It is also very bright.

So Cool!
I got this for my 10 year old son. He’s got a thing about globes, he loves them and collects them and is quite picky about the type. This one totally fit the bill, he loves it! It can be a little difficult sometimes to find the perfect point to get it the globe to “balance” but they eventually get it. This would make a great gift for kids and adults…or yourself!

Fun novelty item for office. Conversation piece
The media could not be loaded. So this is the first levitating magnetic device I’ve owned. I think it’s really fascinating and would make a great gift. I got it for my office and think it would make a really great conversation piece. That said, please note this is not a kid’s toy nor is it good for elderly (keep away from pace makers)! But, I think my 7yo will definitely want to play with it and grandpa will probably enjoy tinkering with it when he comes over, too. I do think teens would like this. I took Astronomy in college so I probably would have loved this.I’ll admit, it took me some time to get this balanced (like several minutes). It assures you in the instructions to be patient, it will work. The book just kept drawing the globe in like a magnet. But there’s a sweet spot then the lights come on and it spins.Very relaxing and meditative up watch! I think it’s great for stress relief! But, it requires power. So if you live in a place with lots of power bumps, this may not be for you as it may fall and have to be repositioned. I positioned mine near carpet so it would have a soft landing. Also, keep this away from any steel objects that may interfere. At first I tried this on a metal tray near a brass lamp then realized that’s not ideal so I moved it away slightly. Not sure if it’s a safety hazard or would magnetize things or what.I will say at first I thought the power connector was broken since the part marked as the power button did not light up. I guess it’s not supposed to. You could even remove the sticker. All in all it’s a cute novelty gift. The book is labeled magnetic levitation which is sort of cheesy. It could have just been labeled Almanac or something.I will also say the instructions were for a “moon”, not a globe so I don’t think this would make a nice gift as that may cause some confusion (or make them wish they got the moon instead).
