Tamagotchi Nano x TinyTAN - Purple

Looked exactly as described. Have no idea how it works. Bought it as a gift for a BTS fan... she loved it so much shes afraid to open it? So take that as you please.

I love the boys. The graphics are what you expect from a tamagotchis. Small and fun. Battery life was still going strong a year after purchase. It’s portable and I had fun with it!

I got this as a gift for a friend and she loved it! It’s smaller than the normal tomagotchi’s so keep that in mind but it works great. She said it’s a fun addition to her collection and that you can pick/cycle through the different singers. Definitely was worth the money and a great gift idea!

As a rule of thumb for any Tamagotchi release directed towards a fandom then it’s going to be a nano device. In this case it’s BTS in their Tiny Tan versions but there’s also anime ones like Demon Slayer, Star Wars, Toy Story etc. Tamagotchi nano is a much smaller device with limited functionality. These are NOT the 90s Tamagotchi. If you want that experience with more gameplay and the iconic alien tamagotchi characters instead search for “Tamagotchi Original”, I’ve included a picture for comparison. These smaller tamagotchi are basically a glorified keychain that you press on occasionally to take care of your character. A bit pricy for what you get here but it’s a nice treat for a BTS fan or a die hard Tamagotchi collector. Of course I chose the purple variant this time around.

Longevity

This tamagotchi is a lot less maintenance than other tamagotchis as theres not as much to do in terms of caring for any member. You can really only do 4 things with the members: feed them 2 diff foods or play 2 diff games. I was a little disappointed with that since I really wanted to be able to really interact with the characters as I am a huge bts fan but really most of the tamagotchi is purely based on the visual experience of seeing their pixeled forms. There are cute cut scenes that happen after you win a game or sometimes the members will sleep or go to the sauna which were fun to see. I found that the buttons on this tamagotchi were wayyy harder to use compared to my other ones. The B button especially gave me a lot of trouble as the games on this one are entirely time based so I'd hit the B button only for it to not show as hit and for me to instantly lose the game. This was kinda frustrating for a bit. I think this tamagotchi is really only enjoyable if you love BTS and wish to collect their items, otherwise I would recommend pursuing a more interesting one.

It’s very tiny, thus the name I believe! I was also expecting it to resemble the tamagotchi / Neo pet devices from the 2000’s but it’s so cute! They don’t come out right away, I opened and turned it on at around 8pm and Suga came at like 12:59am! BIG TIP, change the time to reflect your time zone! I’m a little sad because Suga is sleep during the day and at night when I’m sleeping, he needs stuff and I have bad dreams that he’s gonna leave lmaooo. So yeah. It’s really cute though. The size does make the minigames hard, but anything is possible with practice!

Regalato alla mia teenagers di 11 anni fan sfegatata dei BTS, acquistato un super offerta altrimenti non vale i soldi che costa perché è davvero minuscolo in mano, molto molto più piccolo del classico tamagotchi. Per ora lo abbiamo fatto morire qualche volta e non è ancora uscito il preferito di mia figlia, speriamo esca prima o poi 😅 Consiglio se acquistato come me a 15€ di più non lo avrei preso.

Adorable tama nano that’s perfect for any BTS fan! As a 90s kid, it brings back memories of carrying around the original tamagotchis in elementary/middle school. This nano specifically is simple and easy to use and generally seems to require minimal care to keep the tinytan characters happy. There is only 3 actions you can make before a character comes, and 4 actions once you have a character (two care actions and two games). For anyone not super familiar with tamagotchis, how you interact with the “door” will determine which member you get, and that member will stick around until you neglect it enough for it to “go back through the door” or you push the reset button on the back. I’ve figured out how to interact with the door in order to get each different member…. except RM 😭 (my bias).
