I was building a new gaming computer into an older case...the new motherboard did not have enough USB2 sockets to accommodate all of the case front I/O...this adaptor allowed me to convert an extra MB USB3 socket into 2 USB2 ports for the front panel connections...worked great...quality excellent...only complaint (reason for 4 star overall rating) is that it was not perfectly clear from the new USB2 connector on the adaptor which way to orient the two mating USB2 connectors - I made an educated guess and it worked okay...hopefully, someone turning the connectors around will not break anything on the motherboard... Update: After thinking about it later, I realized that there is only one way to connect the adaptor to the MB USB connector, so changing my rating from 4 to 5!

Needed a converter for my WiFi Adapter. Works perfect no issues connecting and very easy to maneuver for cable management. Comes with 2 in case you would need an extra but you get exactly what you pay for.

I purchased this to go into an older Dell computer, I am using it for the Bluetooth connection on my Pcie wifi card. Fit perfectly, I have the other end connected to my header.

At first I was pretty excited that they had a simple solution for this problem. I have an older case that does not have a USB three connector on the front. So when I got these I opened them up I installed one and was only able to get power to the front plugs but no data. Then I tried the second one and it must’ve had some wires crossed because it seems to fried my USB Wi-Fi adapter. Never could get data across. I tried the Wi-Fi adapter I tried USB thumb drives, etc. So just be careful when you install it it may destroy your equipment.

Worked great in itx build I recently did for someone. I add some heat shrink to it to protect the cable a little better. In a normal case that would not be an issue. Definitely nice though that it came with two of them.

This is an excellent splitter. Durable and just enough cable to make this useful without having too short or too long cabling to deal with. Would buy again.

Ho usato il cavo per adattare una presa interna scheda madre usb3 per collegare lettore di shede frontale. Successivamente, essendo disponibile un'altra presa usb2 ho utilizzato quella ed ho scollegato il cavo, sono comunque soddisfatto completamente dell'acquisto. Saluti Edoardo Micheletti
