The Wild Unknown Alchemy Deck and Guidebook

If you're drawn to the esoteric, mystical and spiritual sciences, this deck is a treasure trove of visual inspiration. The hexagonal card shape is certainly eye-catching, but it can be tricky to shuffle. However, this minor inconvenience is easily overshadowed by the deck's beauty and depth. Thank you Kim for doing you. 🌀♾️🌹

I've bought nine decks in total off the Wild Unknown Tarot equivalent series. I own 2 myself, the rest I've bought as gifts. Seriously deep, easy to read - and my favourite deck is the Archetypes Deck (over Tarot or other types I've tried.) The Spirit Animal Deck is amazing, too. I've not had a chance to look through this deck yet, but I thought my sister would connect with it most, potentially. I bought her the Spirit animal deck, too. For me Kim Krans Decks are the very top level when it comes to Tarot divination. Deep. Mystical. Profound. Eerie at times (but in a welcome way) and incredibly well written. Equally effortlessly to read, too. Which I appreciate (as I'm living post 2 brain injuries, have A.D.D and dyslexia.) Seriously could not recommend her Decks more, and I've tried many. Id start with Archetypes then Animal Spirit, though (as I know these Decks.)

If like me you are intrigued by alchemy then this deck might be very appealing to you. A tool to help you access your inner knowing, in a very beautiful wrapping.

The pack has only just arrived and I can't wait to start working with them. I already have her Archetype cards which I love. I have done some reading around alchemy as a developmental tool, and these will be great for helping me understand the concepts/process as well as supporting my own inner journey. The book is great, as are the cards. Kim's decks are so creative and different. The cards are big, and their shape makes them a bit awkward to shuffle - I only have small hands, but I can live with that.

This is a beautiful deck as I knew it would be. I love the artwork and the cards are of great quality. I love the different shape and the cards are so tactile - very much looking forward to working with these and learning whatever they have to teach me. Xxx

I am a fan of Kim Krans and have all her decks apart from spirit animal. I kind of thought she uses animals in the tarot deck so I didn’t really want the spirit animal although may change my mind at a later date. The Alchemy deck is truly wonderful. I have only done a two card reading so far but both times spot on. The have an uncanny way of hitting the nail on the head. I was a bit worried about shuffling due to the shape but seems ok . I think just let the cards do their own thing whilst shuffling. I can’t recommend this deck enough and I know early days , but the cards already chat back to me so that is enough in itself. I am probably right in saying Kim Krans may not appeal to everyone’s taste but I am certainly a huge fan both in her artwork and the quality and professionalism of her decks.

I originally got the Archetypes via a less reputable supplier, getting the true pack shows the better quality of the cards, Guide Book and packaging. This makes it worth the extra money. I found the Archetypes quite powerful so I am really looking forward to working with these cards. I note what people are saying about the size and shape of the cards, but there's several ways to shuffle, I think the shape adds to the uniqueness of the decks as these are not like other Tarot or Oracle Cards. I'd just ask that people respect that.

I love Kim Krans work and this deck is beautiful and the book a stunning masterpiece. My only gripe is for the awkward shape and a very matte finish which makes handling them very challenging. It’s near on impossible to shuffle them in the traditional way and even riffle shuffling means the cards no longer align at their points/sides and they’re not easy to make neat again. I rarely use her archetype deck for similar reasons - beautiful imagery, a pain to handle. I appreciate the novelty value of a deck that is cut like this, but as a professional reader, with many decks to choose from, those that are not comfortable in the hand tend to stay at the bottom of the pile. It’s a real shame, I would be sure to use it more regularly if it were easier in the hands. I rated it a 3 purely on the basis it is difficult to use on account of its awkward shape and less than ideal card stock.

The artwork, the booklet insights, the cool sidenotes for further introspection! I am in love with this material, I've been interested in the alchemical processes (physical and otherwise) and this deck allowed me to dive into it once more in a fresh approach. Recommended for intermediate oracle readers and/or very curious souls seeking a new perspective!

I took notes from the introductory pages, loved the premise, tried the garden spread. love the empowering dynamic, the made to measure, the rigourous honesty. Try the mess. :D

This is an amazing deck and the layouts and reads that come from it are very on point. I do find you need to use your intuition and think outside the box for the meanings in the messages. Overall great! Only thing worth mentioned they are very hard to shuffle. I have to split them up to properly shuffle. So there are too many but also they stick together and the shape of the cards makes it harder to hold when shuffling because they move around. But honestly it's worth the inconvenience.

Ich fand das »The Wild Unknown« Tarot-Deck ja schon großartig, aber mit diesem Alchemie-Set übertrifft sich Kim Krans selbst. Die Illustrationen sind einfach phantastisch, faszinierend, berührend, wie nicht von dieser Welt – und man kann sofort intuitiv damit arbeiten, auch ohne sich vorher das Buch durchzulesen. Die Ausführungen darin sind aber durchaus hilfreich. Die sechseckige Form der Karten ist etwas ungewohnt, man kann sie nicht wie normale Tarotkarten mal eben schnell durchmischen und legen. Im Gegenteil, sie zwingen einen zum langsamen, bewussten Handling, was dem Thema aber durchaus dienlich und angemessen ist.
