Prang Washable Tempera Paint, Black, 16 Oz., 1 Count

I bought this set with Amazon's "Save with Used - Very Good" for $26.57. I have no idea why it was listed as "used". The Paints arrived in perfect condition (with caps), in the original box. Decently thick, dense color. Nice fresh paint. Never buying little 2oz bottles again. Exceptional price!

Easy to wash off skin, comes out gorgeous on canvas.

My favorite craft paint to use with kids.

Great color. Required more water to use in my spraygun than other brands I have used.

We used this to paint signs for a wedding directly on bare, raw, rough-milled wood (the way you shouldn't, without endless sanding, primer, an additional sealer, and a rooster sacrifice under the full moon...). It worked great--nicely legible, and even without any top coat, it lasted without running even though it rained for an hour the morning of the wedding. Good stuff!

Prang makes a good quality product. Paint is even, not clumpy, and not too thin either. Washes up well if you wash up promptly.

Not artist quality

We purchased this paint to paint a cardboard castle. This paint will not do. It is watery, the colours do not apply on thick. It dries to a chalky finish. It takes a long time for it to dry on paper (we painted a paper bag 2 hours ago and paint still isn't completely dry). Not quite what we were looking for. This paint would be great for finger painting and children who want to blend colours with their hands on paper. Although you can wash the paint off, it does stain the white paint bristles permanently. I would suspect you can wash the the paint but that it will leave some stains behind on certain light coloured clothing. Will not be purchasing this paint again due to the watery consistency of the paint. We did get it at a good price, but it was quantity over quality to be honest.

Worked great. Didn't have a base or primer coat so dud need a couple coats. Worked fantastic! Arrived fast. Color was excellent. Thank you. Grandkids were happy!

Our toddlers love to paint, not only craft items, but also the house around... I lost walls to them handprints... Previous washable paints we bought did not have a great texture, seemed watery, did not cover crafts very well, hard to pick up with a paint brush. This paint is finally what we've been looking for. Covers surfaces well, fluid yet full texture which is easy to work with for 3 years old toddlers, and washes away easily too, even after it dries on the floor, wall, table, skin, hair, etc. The colors are vibrant and deep! Very happy with this choice!

Paint seems a bit watery but works for small children art. One bottle came open during delivery so maybe only order it by itself so your not cleaning paint off of everything else!

This is good quality tempera paint. I purchased it for my classroom and have had no complaints with the quality. Sometimes it dries around the top, but mostly this was because of the difficult to remove white plastic. Once I found a reliable way to completely remove the white plastic the paint stays much more liquid. TIP: Never let a grade 8 student pour his own paint. I pour it onto palettes for my students and then repeat as necessary. It means more work for me, but it keeps the paints ever so much cleaner.
