Kind Dark Chocolate Nuts and Sea Salt bar, 1.4 Ounce

I have already reviewed several of the flavors and gave them 5 stars. My favorite has always been the Cranberry Almond but I think the Dark Chocolate Nuts and Sea Salt is going to rapidly become my favorite. I have an aversion to dark chocolate but liked the Dark Chocolate Peanut one pretty well so I went ahead and bought a box for those times I have a late afternoon sweet tooth at work. I received the Dark Chocolate Nuts and Sea Salt as a free sample with some Kashi oatmeal and again, didn't expect to like it because of the dark chocolate & the sea salt seemed odd to me. It is so incredibly delicious! The sea salt adds just the right contrast to the rest of the bar. The only drawback - its hot outside and the chocolate became a serious melted mess in the wrapper by the time it ventured thru the heat to get to California. Regardless, I got online and just ordered 2 boxes of the Dark Chocolate Nuts and Sea Salt. I highly recommend trying this one and I never would have without the free sample.

I cannot keep these in my house if they're here I just eat them until they are gone has a nice rich chocolate flavor that which is not at all waxy and the nuts are great too. Salt sweet crunch and chocolate. What more could you want? Addictive!

I got this for free as a sampler when I purchased a box of 24 popchips when they were on sale for the amazon's gold box deal of the day. The chocolate on the bottom of the car was a bit melted but that's understandable given that it's 85-90 degrees Fahrenheit here, so unless they put ice packs inside the box it would arrive in a melted condition, adding ice wouldn't make it worth it to sell. I ate the bar, tasted great for something with dark chocolate since I'm not a fan of dark chocolate!

They were being sold by Amazon LLC for $1.49 each at the time, with free two-day shipping for Amazon Prime members, and since I've tried them before, picked up a couple of them.Now I see that the original Amazon deal is gone, and has been replaced by a third party offer. At the time of this review, they are being sold for "$1.59 + $5.95 Est. shipping" and available at an external website. That comes to $7.54 per bar. So much for the "free sample" being offered here.This deal reminded me of something else. Do you remember Vince Shlomi, also known as the "ShamWow Guy" and the one in the Slap Chop infomercials that we used to see? Television's fastest talker used his double entendre signature line "You're gonna love my nuts!" so often that people bought the product... often to their dismay. I like the KIND bars as noted above, but with the deal being currently offered here, it's reminiscent of that one from the "ShamWow Guy" a bit too much.There is another deal here on Amazon for KIND Nuts & Spices, Dark Chocolate Nuts & Sea Salt, 12-Count Bars which is far better; just do the math, as it comes out quite reasonably if you want a dozen. They have been endorsed by Al Roker, Dr. Oz and other nutrition folks, but luckily we don't hear them saying "You're gonna love my nuts" on their television segments.9/23/2012

The Kind Dark Chocolate Cherry Cashew bar is a delicious snack. It has the right combination of nuts and dried fruit to give you the chewy-crunchy combination that satisfies. In addition, the chocolate ties everything together, delivering a balance of sweet and savory. These bars are great for the afternoon when your energy fades, or to bring along for a hike.

Due to medical reasons, I have to limit my sugar intake. All I can say after trying this bar is WOW! This is a terrific replacement for that candy craving with only 5 gr of sugar. Healthy dark chocolate and nuts and that sea salt just adds a little extra special taste. I was sent a sample and promptly ordered a box!** update - I continue to purchase this product. I have tried most of the Kind bars and for low sugar content and great taste, this one is a winner

If you enjoy dark chocolate - these have the best flavor and mix of ingredients!I store mine in the refrigerator and take one out an hour before I am ready to enjoy it.

The free sample of the Dark Chocolate Nuts and Sea Salt Bar was just ok. I was hoping for more of a contrast between the sweet chocolate and the salty nut taste, but I got more of a nutty and less chocolate taste. Plus, it was very hard to chew - kind of like the hard, brittle consistency of peanut-brittle, which made me worry about chipping a tooth.
