Solid quality filter
Mann filters are very good quality. No issues with fit. The activated carbon is more a gimmick than anything - I don't notice any difference between regular filters and activated carbon filters.

Lots of charcoal in it.
I have never bought a charcoal cabin filter with this much charcoal in it. Quite heavy. Costs a lot but does a good job.

Perfect fit for 2017 & 2020 Golf hatchback/wagon
Same filter fits 2017 Golf hatchback & wagon and 2020 Golf hatchback. Be really careful as you lower the glovebox. Remove all contents in case it flops down. The rack-and-pinion track that tracks the on/off switch could separate from the gear assembly, which is loosely enclosed in the switch assembly and not anchored.
