I don't know how hard the wind blows where you are, but short of a hurricane I don't think you will have a problem. I have mine outside the back door on the deck, and it stays put. The back is rubberized so it doesn't move when you scrape your shoes on it, so it would take a fairly large gust of wind to move it. My old cocoa mat got blown all over the place, but if it is that windy then nothing is going to stay where it's supposed to. I guess if you were worried about it, you could get some velcro tape and use that to keep it in place, depending on what kind of surface your mat is sitting on.

Q: The floor mats are leaving stains on my porches from the rubber. Is this a common problem and what can I do about it?

I have the floor mat on my front porch which is cement. No stains at this point and I live in Seattle so there is always rain.
