Sharp blade, tacky grip, great value.
I'm no blade expert, but this knife has been great so far, especially for the modest price at which it sells. I bought it for general use purposes and have mainly used it for cutting larger foods so far, like certain fruit or meats. It came super sharp and has kept an edge well so far. I mean really, really sharp. The most surprising and pleasant feature of the knife is the handle, which has a tacky, rubberized feel to it that allows for a very good grip on the knife. The sheath is decently thick plastic and it gets the job done, keeping me from cutting myself when I open the knife drawer in the kitchen. However it isn't particularly stylish, so if a cool sheath is important to you, you may need to buy one separately.I haven't used it long enough to know about its long-term durability, but it seems to be a well-constructed blade. Compared to some of the high-end cutlery out there of similar size, the quality of this knife more than justifies the asking price. Even if the blade doesn't last me 10 years, I can buy several of them for the same price of buying something really high-end. If you buy one of those, I really don't think you will be disappointed.

Great Quality, Price and Durability
Swedish made Morakniv knives can't be beat for low price, quality and durability. I have several of them now and find them to be all of these. The low price is obvious, you can see the quality by going to Morakniv's website and see how they are made and you can see their durability on Youtube. One video by "Dutch Bushcraft Knives" is fun to watch and cringe as these guys do things to knives you'd never do intentionally. This Morakniv "Allround" is among their longer knives. Most have shorter blades designed and made for specific activities, crafts, carpentry or various trades. The steel in these blades is incredibly tough. The 5.875" stainless steel blade of this "Allround" model is only 2.5 mm thick and 2.2cm wide yet it bends very little. It comes very sharp, so use caution. The blade has a tang that is about 2/3 the length of the handle. The handle is molded around the tang so it's very solid. This "Allround" knife has a non-slip "overmold" covering all but the end caps. It feels very solid in the hand. The sheath is plastic molded to fit this knife. It has a leather "dangler" belt loop that will accommodate a belt up to 2.75" wide. This knife is up to just about all it might be needed for with any outdoor activity. It isn't exactly a "bowie" knife, but this Morakniv take on outdoor knives will get the job done.

Very nice quality knife
Very nice quality knife. I have a bit of mora fever right now so I keep talking myself into buying different models. I received this one today and my first thought was, 'wow, that blade has some length'. My second thought was, 'what the heck am I going to use this for'. I'm into bushcrafting so that's really why I'm looking at moras. In my opinion this knife is longer than it needs to be for bushcrafting tasks but, I'm sure I'll find some use for it.

Great kitchen camp knife.
I use it for a kitchen knife. Sometimes you need a bit longer blade for food prep. It's light weight, and has a sheath. It's easy to sharpen. The belt loop is leather. I can throw this in a box wit all my other food prep items. The blade is protected, and I'm not going to cut my hand fishing around in the box looking for something else. Same with drawers. I don't like sharp knives rattling around in drawers. They are either in a sheath, or in a wood block on the counter counter. And these are better quality than the sweated knives in the block. If there is an emergency and I kneed survival knife I can put it on my belt and it will do just fine.

My first Mora knife
I just received this knife and am extremely satisfied with the purchase. The handle feels perfect in my medium sized hand and the texture makes it non-slip. The blade is very sharp and the tip demands some respect. The sheath is simple but the green is attractive and the friction fit is perfect with no need for velcro or a snap. The belt loop is leather and it positions the knife for easy access. I mainly buy stainless steel knives because I like the ease of care and I hate rust. The Bushcraft group loves their high carbon steel but I am quite satisfied with the clean look of stainless. Also, the blade is longer than many of the Mora knife offerings and this helped in the purchasing decision. The price is hard to beat for a knife of this quality and I highly recommed it! .

At home in kitchen or camp
Mora has found a way to make great knives out of inexpensive steel. They come sharp and hold their edge quite well.I haven't used this one (stainless) much yet, but Mora's stainless are generally similar to their carbon, except that they do not require the level of care. I cook with wood all year round, so find myself splitting kindling daily. For small stuff, up to 2" thick the Allaround works fine. I've been pounding on my carbon version for years and it is no worse for wear. Every day I use it for chopping garlic, cutting onions and other veggies, meat, cardboard, everything. From my experience with other Mora stainless, I expect the stainless Allrounder will also take a licking and keep on ticking. The Skandi edge is fairly easy to sharpen, but I must admit I never get it as sharp as from the factory. Still it cleanly slices through everything I throw at it.My favorite knife and I have way too many knives.

Easy to sharpen, nice value.
Just got done sharpening this knife all the way up (or down?) to .25 micron diamond paste and felt compelled to give a 5 star review for it.The blade geometry is very simple. It's a completely flat grind to the edge from where you see the angle change. It comes already sharp so you can start pretty high up on grit, meaning not much wrestling with burrs. The one bevel you see is pretty wide so you can angle your stone easily. This knife version is obviously not to be abused. For light work at home, it's great.+ Under $30+ Arrives already sharp trust me (I hesitated on sharpening for a bit as it's really unnecessary)+ Flat ground wide bevel means easy to sharpenI got no cons for this knife at this value. Not full tang but it's obviously irrelevant to this particular Mora version.

A bit too large...
Typical Mora quality, it's a beautiful knife for the price. I find it on the unwieldy side, a bit too large for most jobs. If you're compensating, go for it... but the 746 or Companion are more practical work knives.

Sharp out the box, longer mora knife
Really like this knife~ sharp out the box, the extra length (5.75") over your average Mora knife meant I could use it as a mini machete clearing a trail. & Mora are top value for money knives. Great purchase.

Parfait
