Replacement Seal for Dometic 385311462, 385310677 RV Toilet Seal kit. (Without Overflow Holes)

Very simple installation. My Dometic seal, replaced in 2019 with factory part, was not holding water. This design seems much better and holds water well. I have the feeling that this is a part, given temperatures ranging from below freezing to hot as a desert, that will require routine replacement. But it's inexpensive and easy to deal with. Took me less than 3 minutes, start to finish. Just pulled the plastic base forward, loosened the big hose clamp and replaced it. That's it.

Seems to be a little thicker than the original, the ring around the base and bowl didn't seat like the original. But the operation is fine and so far no leaks. Pretty easy install but be methodical about it and you'll be fine. I put it all together and the flushing leaver was locked tight and wouldn't move, had to take it apart again to see why but never found the reason. Just try it before you finish putting everything together.

Replacement is easier than you think. A little messy but not to bad. I have yet to find a model # on my toilet so took a swag and ordered this anyway. Turns out my toilet actually does have an overflow hole (you wont know this until you disassemble) so using my old gasket as a template I drilled a hole in this one. Took two minutes and works fine. Toilet now holds water. Job overall takes 30 to 45 minutes. BTW, I’ve been using “happy camper” in my septic system.....works great.....zero odor while completing this project.

Can now hold water in our RV toilet. Leaks out overnight though.

This seal fit perfectly and sealed my Sealand/Dometic 510 Plus toilet. It has clear installation instructions and does the job admirably.

Easy enough to install if you have some common sense. Took longer to gather the tools and preparing the working area Incase of a mess then to install. I have never done this job before but it took me 8 minutes once starting the job to finish. Update on the product looks like after 37 weeks it has finally failed. It will not keep a seal any longer there for I would update that it’s a 3* product. But since it is easy enough to replace, guess I’ll order another one and replace it one more time.

My bowl held water most of the time but occasionally leaked till it was bone dry. I sometimes saw black rubber bits flaking off and Plumbers Grease was not fixing the problem. I knew if water was leaking out, gas was leaking in.DUMP YOUR BLACK TANK.Shut off the water and prepare to catch and residual drips.Remove the nuts holding the head to the floor. Lift toilet up to remove.Stuff a rag into the hole to keep fumes at bay.Take the unit outside and scrub and sanitize it.Split the top from the bottom. Mine was held together by a v shaped collar and a big hose clamp.Remove the old seals and replace with new.Reverse order to install.Not the most 'FUN' project but definitely a satisfying one. Sparkly clean toilet that works better than new.

The media could not be loaded.  Bought this seal kit for my Dometic 210. I’m pretty handy, but I’m sure that anyone with a screwdriver can do this job. The replacement parts seem to be of high quality, but the true measure will be time. I hope I’m as pleased in a few years as I am now.

Worked as described and stopped that slow leaking
