There isn't much to say about this item, except that it makes your life much easier!I use it to chop so many different things: onions, garlic, almost any vegetable, tomatoes... and it works a treat. It is really convenient having different blade sizes and a slicer.Everything is easy to slide in and take off, so it is really easy to clean.The build quality is good too, and it comes with little rubbery pads at the bottom to avoid sliding around when you press.Overall it just saves so much time and space when cooking (forget your chopping boards and knives)!If you found this review helpful, please click the "Helpful" button below, it helps me a lot! :-)

Unfortunately, this product has cut me really badly. The handle slipped off the first time and my hand went into the attachment where the slicer goes and then I tried it again pushing the needles into a carrot to make it more sturdy and although I cut into small chunks, it went flying and my fingers caught the brunt. Blood everywhere, super sharp, this isn't safe at all.It looks great but I'd rather just use a knife next time...

I liked this product so thought I would buy it again for my son. However from July to august this was went up nearly double !!! I wouldn’t recommend paying £30 when I paid £17 in July. Disgusting putting it up that much

We always make homemade chips rather than buying from a shop as they are so much better, so when looking to replace my potato slicer we decided to try a mandolin slicer instead.This one seemed very reasonably priced for the amount of accessories it came with so decided to give it a try.So far, I’ve used it for making chips and coleslaw and both times it’s has worked so well.It has produced good, clean cuts and has done so with little to no effort.The build quality is great, and the storage box is really handy and I can foresee many instances where this will come in handy.I can highly recommend this if you are in the market for a mandolin slicerPros- effortless slicing- great storage box- plenty of accessoriesCons- could do with something to stop to hurting yourself if your hand slips ( you can get special gloves elsewhere )

I have used lots of these products including the original Nicer Dicer (why so many? I broke the hinge on the last one..) I like this one - the blades are sharp and it cuts well. My only complaint is that the lid is not very secure - it doesn't click firmly in place and it often comes off when chopping. It's not the end of the world - it only takes a fraction of a second to re-position it correctly but enough to hold back on that last gold star.
