The universal remote is excellent. The set up was fairly easy after finding the correct code for Hisense TV. All the codes are provided, just had to work through them to find the correct one for our model. The instructions are not as easy to follow to start with, however, once the remote is set to the TV, it is very easy to use.

Leicht zu installieren und gut zu handhaben. Die Anleitung sollte aber auch in Deutsch sein.

I have a cheap new LG TV. The tiny remote is execrable. With black buttons on a black background it is extremely easy to press the wrong one, entering a doom loop of bloatware potentially dumping you into a Richard Branson product. The Big Button Remote is excellent: Huge black buttons stand out well against the silver body. It only controls on/off, volume, mute and channel up or down. It's just like a tv from 1985. It's bliss. I love the simplicity. You'll still need a normal remote to access other things such as catch up, tv guide etc. The instructions for pairing your tv are useless and inaccurate. Make sure you hold both red buttons until the TV switches itself off. Then immediately press set. UPDATE: It stopped working after 3 months.

Overall extremely happy with this. I bought it for my 93-year-old mum because the remote that came with her tv has dozens of tiny buttons which are hard to see and fiddly to press and she never used most of them. This actually functions better than the original, which was often slow/unresponsive, and is a million times simpler. The set up was slightly tricky: considering the product is aimed at those with poorer eyesight, it seems daft to have the instructions printed in minuscule type and they were not the easiest to understand. I think most elderly folk would need help. There is supposed to be an auto setup function but I couldn't get this to work so I had to programme each button individually. Still, it wasn't hard to do once I got the hang of it and Mum is delighted, which is the most important thing. Good value and works great.
