I started getting into lentil and bean pastas because I have a family member who is diabetic and a life long pasta lover. Now the whole family has converted to lentil pasta because it's SO much better for you - and you never have to feel guilty about eating it. We have tried pretty much every lentil pasta out there and I think we all agree that this one is the best in terms of texture/flavor. You do have to get the cook time right but if you follow the instructions and test the noodles frequently you should be fine. I also find it helps to rinse with cool water or drizzle with oil after dumping it in the colander to prevent sticking.It's a shame to see that some people are giving it low rating just because they didn't cook it right and wound up with extra mushy pasta.

Bentilia is the perfect pasta product for me. It is a while clean food. So often gluten free products have ingredient lists of 20 or 30 unpronounceable additives but not Barilia. One product only and it's pure red lentils. My husband can't tell the difference in taste between it and whole grain pasta so that's a double plus. The only product I've ordered so far is the penne. I'm on my second 5lb box and don't plan to change.

This honestly kept me going for several months before figuring out my gallbladder needed to be removed. I still enjoy this in my regular rotation as a quick, easy, healthy meal. Much more filling than regular pasta and tastes great - much better than brown rice or even a whole wheat blend with more vitamins, protein, and no mystery ingredients.

This is really good pasta. Much better than what I've been buying at the grocery store.

Great taste

Tastes great. Doesn’t seem like much but it’s very filling, two bags at a time is enough for our family of 6. We paired it with Newman’s Own sauce and my kids didnt even know it wasn’t regular pasta. We have one out of 4 kids who has a special diet so it’s really hard to cater to him and make sure it’s something everyone else will eat as well. We also have a bottomless pit who instead of eating three servings like with regular pasta feels full after one. Very happy with this product and I hope they will continue to offer coupons so it’s affordable for us because we can’t find anything like this in the store!
