I use this Dome with a V1 and it is a total must have for that flash. Shooting wedding receptions has become super easy and light is perfectly soft and filling. Installation is super simple with the included adapters and the dome clips right on to the flash which is awesome for any sort of portrait shooting where a similarly sized universal solution would fall off immediately.

I personally would be okay with this in a studio setup. It’s nice and big, so it gives a really nice defused light. BUT it isn’t ideal for run-and-gun picture taking. I shoot nightlife events, and this guy weights a ton on the flash. It’ll make the flash flop all over the place if your panning and tilting aggressively. But in the studio space where everything is set and not moving a bunch; this is really nice! Overall; 7/10 from me.

I assumed the Godoy V-1 was basically identical to the Neewer Z-2. I was wrong. I gave it 5-stars because the product is well-made and, I assume. fits the Godot V-1 perfectly.

Too heavy and bulky.

Great light distribution, however it's a little heavy adding stress to hot shoe area of flash.That's my only concern with product.
