EZ Lite Cruiser Deluxe Slim SX10 - Personal Mobility Device

I was convinced to buy this directly from the EZ Lite website because of their “free gift bundle” of accessories worth “over $350.00”. IF YOU CHOOSE THE EZ LITE WEBSITE, READ THE FINE PRINT, THE ACCESSORIES WILL NOT ARRIVE UNTIL AFTER THE EXPIRATION OF THE RETURN PERIOD. I needed an electric wheelchair quickly to be able to return to work, so I chose the ‘slim’ option. It is slim, fits though my apartment doors easily. The seat is comfortable enough. The hand controls are extremely sensitive and will take a while to get used to them. The motor makes a loud clacking noise at times that is somewhat worrisome. I WAS TOLD THAT THIS IS NOT DESIGNED FOR WHEELCHAIR BOUND USERS, BUT FOR AMBULATORY USERS WHO HAVE DIFFICULTY WALKING LONG DISTANCES. The ‘quick release’ motors are not ‘quick’, that simply allows for the removal of the motors to lighten the wheelchair weight. It’s ok.

I really like this wheelchair.It does everything I want. I purchased the slim with ten inch wheels with the detachable motors and the extended footrest.It is easy to operate and easy to fold and unfold.This is the second foldable wheelchair I have purchased. The first one had a problem and I contacted the company and got no help at all and wasn't able to purchase any parts.So I have a 2500 dollar chair that won't run. We went to the ezlite headquarters in Chatsworth CA and were greeted by Michael and he introduced the rest of the staff and showed us around.They have a service department and parts for all their wheelchairs.He let me try different chairs before deciding on this model. The whole experience was great. I would highly recommend them and you won't be disappointed.
